To just say that this is just a light bulb, would be an injustice! The Tunable White Smart Bulb "C" by GE, is a godsend! Let me start by telling you about my favorite feature, the fact that it is dimmable! My wife is a night reader, so before she goes to bed, she has to read a few chapters from the latest book that she is reading. This used to be a big problem for me, because I have to be at work early which means I go to sleep early. It used to be a constant struggle for me as the light would keep me up. With the Tunable Smart Bulb, my problems are now a thing of the past! Now when I am ready to go to sleep, I can set her light at a lower level where it doesnt bother me. An added bonus, is the integration into "google home". So now I dont even have to get up to turn it off anymore, I can just ask google! The way it operates with Google Home, is by far one of the greatest additions to my home. I can even turn it on while I am away from home, to make it seem like someone is there. There is an option to set a scheduled time, where you can turn it on and off during the day. At this point, the word satisfied would be an understatement! This bulb makes me want to change every light in my home to the Tunable White Smart Bulb!

Wow!! I'm getting one for each room!! This is amazing!! Easy to set up in a few minutes with your smart phone. The bulb and be turned on and off, dimmed or brightened. The best part is color changing from bright white shades to mood lighting shades. It's amazing!!

I was very impressed with the GE Google smart bulb. It isvery easily paired with any home smart device. I love the fact that it is programmable to turn off and on while your not home. Leave you with the comfort of knowing that your house is more protected while you are away. It is dimmable for any lighting occasion. I would definitely recommend this product to all my family and friends.

This is definitely a smart bulb. I liked it. It was programmable and I feel this will save on electricity billing. It's easy to use. It's very lightweight. I would recommend this bulb. Its definitely not like the old original light bulb. I used as directed.

I have to say I am impressed by this light bulb. I am not all into the google home setup. which this bulb is compatible with, so if you have a google home setup you can control it with that. but I do not, I just downloaded the GE app on the play store. the app is called C by GE. you will have to have your Bluetooth on while using the light bulb. with the app you can set up different rooms in your house if you have these bulbs in more than one room. you can also set up the bulbs so they come on at certain times, like a timer. from the app you can also manually turn on and off the light, by pressing the button. I had fun and tried to scare my husband with it, he knew something was up, still fun. you can also control how bright the light is too, which is awesome, sometimes you buy bulbs and they are just too bright. but really the absolute best feature is that you can make the bulb shine bright white daylight, soft white, or have the warm yellow almost golden tint. so you no longer have to think about what tint you want at home, only to buy one, and not like how bright it is in your home. this thing is so awesome just for that fact alone!! I can't recommend this enough, you will be so surprised at how customizable these are, try one and you will not regret it, again you do not need a google home setup for this, and that is so awesome, I really like this product!!

I received this in the Wal-Mart Spark program in return for my honest review. The lightbulb fits a standard light socket and Can be controlled by your cell phone via a downloadable app. You can also use it the old fashioned way with a light switch. Puts out good light.

This is a nice bulb, but I wasn't able to get it connected to my Google Home App. I was able to connect it to the C by GE app. The C by GE app is easy to access and is very user friendly; however, it would be nice to be able to access the light with everything else I have connected to my google home account. I've tried daily to get it to connect, but I haven't been successful. I'm pretty tech savvy, so I'm not sure what the issue is. I'll keep trying. I like that I can turn the light on and off from my phone, but I can also change the color of the light (three versions of orange and one light bright blue for cool daylight). The optional colors of purple, green, and pink would be a nice touch for my kids. I'm assuming I'd need a different bulb for those particular colors. I've posted a pic of the different colors and settings from the C by GE app. I currently have the bulb in a lamp that I keep behind my couch. This makes it great for reading or for working on my computer in the evenings. Overall, great light and features. I'd given it five stars if I were able to connect to my Google Home Account.

These light bulbs works as expected, but i was not blown away. Its a handy gaget to have though. I put a bulb in my kitchen for when i go down and have to cook, i can leave my phone on charge upstairs but switch the sound to the light downs when i am goin down. It handy but i barely use it because i like my headphones in because i don't live alone. But this has a noce set up and works nicely if you dont mind other people hearing what your listening to.

I have a smart phone and I downloaded the app. However, I could not get this to work and I don't think the instructions were very clear that I needed a google device to make the light bulb work. The instructions say to screw in the light bulb and download the app, which I did. But, the app said it could not find a device, but I am not sure what device I need. The light bulb itself works great, even without interacting with an app. But, I am not sure it would be worth the extra cost, if you don't have the proper device to interact with the bulb.

This product has a great concept but it's literally a pain to even get it work in ng properly. Apparently the light needed to be reset and I went through two different procedures to 'reset' it and it didnt work Eventually I just gave up. I am tech savvy and didnt want to be bothered anymore. I did receive this product through the Spark reviewer program to test out and give my feedback.
