Love this item but make sure you keep a portable charger with the appropriate cable or key available outside of the lock location incase the batteries die. There should be some sort of alert as to when they are running low. The percentage it shows does not seem to be accurate!!!

I LOVE the lock. I have 5 total. Pretty easy to install. I have been using them for a year now.

Geeksmart door knob was very easy to install. I had an existing door knob and removed it. The geeksmart device was an easy swap. There were no modifications to the existing holes in the door needed in my case. Set up was simple enough the only issue I have is with the app itself. I unchecked the auto lock feature but for some reason it eventually turns back on causing my door to lock when I don't need it to but this is a very minor issue and I will contact app developers accordingly.

This secret fingerprint doorknob that can unlock with a Bluetooth device (via an app on your smartphone) is a really great product/invention but it’s not perfect (AAA batteries are needed but are not included). It’s bigger than average and slightly adjustable, pretty simple to install on most doors, just don’t forget to connect the wire. If your on the inside far away from the doorknob’s position, it won’t unlock via smartphone for an unauthorized person. You’ll have to manually open it or stand about a foot next to the doorknob in order for it to work. From the lock side, it does come with a set of keys (2) incase and it works very well via smartphone unlock but sometimes it won’t read your fingerprint properly especially if anyone has big/oily/cracked fingers so you will have to try until it opens. There is also a usb type-C charging port hidden below in case if the batteries die so it’s best to keep a charger/power bank handy (haven’t tried it yet).

Easy to put together, easy set up and works well. Be aware, if you want WiFi access there is a bridge that is an additional purchase. The knob is Bluetooth. Also, there’s only one account to control it, different users don’t have separate accounts.

I’ve emailed the seller 3 times and have gotten no response. One of the items are broken and all I asked was for a replacement not a refund . But can’t seem to get an answer . So what’s my next step .
