I love the way these are so convenient. Just put them in the console or glove box and store until needed. I bought a multipack to share with my children and husband for our cold winter weather. I would definitely recommend for anyone living in northern states.

I put these up over all my windows during winter in Iowa, it really brought the heating bill down. I just placed the edges on the wall surrounding window frame itself, and sealed it up with some masking tape- for easy removal later. Cover it with curtains- you'll never notice it! Aluminum can block up to 80% of heat from passing through. So while it doesn't keep cold out, it keeps heat in.

Important to have on hand in your car in case of emergency, as well as on hand at home in case of power outages in below freezing weather. They are individually wrapped, not expensive, and there's enough to share.

I just wanted these for the cars. I have several driving grandkids that I want them to have in their glove compartments. You never know if you might need one of these if your car breaks down in Ohio weather.

I purchased these mylar blankets to block heat from coming into the windows. We live in the Southwest where the summer temperatures routinely reach over 100°. I attached these blankets with velcro for the summer time. The do exactly what I wanted. I will remove the blankets prior to winter

These were lightweight but big enough to cover a person. We sent them to the hurricane Helene victims in the mountains of North Carolina when it started to snow and many people still have no shelter. These were literally tracked in by mule teams to people stranded in the mountains beyond where vehicles could deliver. The small packable size and light weight were critical in a situation where traditional blankets would have been too heavy and bulky.

Got what was advertised, don't expect more than what a mylar sheeting can do. Cut is a bit rough on the edge, but that honestly helps get it open and the material is a bit tear resistant. Just be careful of puncturing it. May order more for gifts or trying r/c modeling. Packaged in much too big of a box when shipped.

I presume they work due to the science behind it but I never needed them yet. The problem is that they are so crinkly and noisy it would be impossible to sleep in them. It would be like sleeping in aluminum foil.

Each one you can see through (almost clear) HOW IS THESE SUPPOSEDLY KEEP YOU WARM IN A EMERGENCY ??? … some both sides are slick…ours just have one side slick…some are tacky… VERY POOR QUALITY … Don't waste You Money or the Time it Takes To Get Them !!! ..
