I like the safety feature that will keep it from accidentally opening in your pocket. Unlock the safety and with just a flick of the wrist the blade deploys fast and locks open. Gerber is known for quality and durability. I also like that it's made in the USA. Oh, it also has a landyard hole and emergency window breaker.

Overall really good knife, grip is good and sharpness is on another level. However, the spring assisted opening isn't the most refined, compared to something like my SOG Flash AT-XR

This Gerber knife has many uses and as a deer hunter I would take it with me everytime. The lock holds tight, doesn't move at all. The blade is wider then most and the serrated is towards the handle so it has a saw effect when cutting upward. The clip on the handle is strong and hooks on your belt with ease. The grip is made so it won't slip out of your hand and the khaki color is a nice Military reminder. I recommend getting this Gerber knife.

Fast, smooth opening and sharp.

Overall great knife. Spring for the assisted opening isn't as strong as it used to be. Wish the price hadn't doubled over the last 4 years.

Great blade for the price. Only issue I have is the safety, which can be switched off pretty easy in the pocket.

First of all I am a real human being. I am not some AI computer reviewer, and the blade and the knife are actually good. They're good quality. It's a good brand but for some reason, maybe it's just mine. It continues to open up in my pocket and I have carried a knife in my pocket for over 25 years just like this one I've never had it happen and it is a deadly situation. Luckily, I have not been harmed, but it is very possible to get very badly hurt so much so that I took it out of my pocket after three days and it still sits on my counter brand new which sucks cause I like the knife I really do, but it's not worth dying over.
