I thoroughly enjoyed this set! This is my first dive into checking out some of Ozark Trail's knives, and I'm impressed! It's a nice little beginner set. The Sheath for the fixed blade is plastic lined (I figured eventually it would cut through the Sheath thread, but the plastic lining will prevent that).

great Christmas present and it's perfect quality handles and blades are very good quality and will be great for camping,it doesn't have a case,but you could easily get one for it 🩷

I just got this for two Christmas gifts and I love it! I know it's something they are going to use for a lot of different things. I strongly recommend this if you/ someone you know love knifes and outdoorsy activities

This 12 pack camping tool set is very well rounded! It's tools come sharp and ready for use right away! I like that the machete is a two in one tool. The fire starter is great to have just Incase! I put this set right into my must haves we keep in our car! Definitely recommend this set!

I received the Ozark Trail 12-Pack Camping Tool Set in exchange for a review as a member of the Wal-Mart Spark review Team. This set comes with a Rubber Handle Machete That has a super sharp cutting edge on one side and a super sharp saw edge on the other side. It is 16 inches long from tip of handle to tip of blade and feels well balanced and rugged built and will cut with ease. It comes with a 10 1/2 inch hatchet which is also very sharp and has a paracord covered handle that is comfortable and easy to grip the blade also can be used to tighten or loosen nuts and bolts in 3 sizes 3/8, 1/2 and 5/8 and they perform well in larger areas. Next is a 9 1/4 inch knife also very sharp and covered with a paracord handle and the blade is 5 1/4 inch from tip to guard with a sharp cutting blade and serrated cutting edge close to the guard. There is a 2 3/4 inch long sharpening stone in case the edges need a little sharpening. All three cutting tools come with a nylon sheath that are well put together and have belt loops. All three cutting tools are made from thick enough material as to hold up to cutting , chopping, and sawing.The set also comes with 50 ft of utility cord, 2 6cm carabiners and a fire starter. Last is a 5 inch 180 luman LED aluminum focusing flashlight with 3 modes - high, low and flash and it comes with the batteries. This set is a well made great looking multi function set that is perfect for carrying in an RV or Travel Trailer and do what they are intended to do quite well.

This was a good buy to cover all the basics for a reasonable price. Should cover most needs for camping but wouldn't go tackling hardcore tasks as durability is questionable. Sharp and light enough to carry easily in your own dry bag as one is not provided.

Metal feels "soft" (if that makes sense) so it probably would dull quickly, but it comes with a sharpening stone. Wish they opted for a wood handle design, rope handles are a bit lose but there seems to be human involvement in manufacturing so that's so be expected. I don't like rope handles. Praise me. Whenever I think about the tools I get annoyed for some reason, but they are good.

All of the pieces are extremely sharp out of the box. infact ive never seen a machete this sharp without doing it yourself. its a decent set the hatchet is pretty small but seems well made. My only complaint is the ferro rod will not strike a spark no matter what you do

Great set for camping especially for the price. The only thing is that the sheaths were behind everything and can easily be missed. Almost threw them out with the packaging!

a kit is a very good idea but my marine son said that the axe really needs to be full size to be effective. it did not cut into a thin branch. maybe it is the quality of the blade. i didn't even try the machete. those were the main reason for purchase
