Ozark Trail 12-Pack Camping Tool Set with 180-Lumen Flashlight, 10" Machete, 4.5" Hatchet, 5" Knife, Sharpening Stone, Fire Starter, 50 Foot Utility Cord, and Carabiners

This kit has a ton of paracord with 2 60lb rated hooks. Decent flashlight. Seems to be a bit weather proof. All three of the knife, hatchet and machete are full tang knives. The steel is soft and thin and very light. It would be good to carry in a backpack. It doesnt seem to be heavy usage....just recreational.

This set of camping tools are great, good heavy and a reasonable quality. My husband said everyone should have these around for survival tools. They just came in over the weekend and my husband already has come up with many uses for them, not camping. It comes with everything knives, sharpener, a hatchet, flashlight, hooks, rope and even a sheath for the knives and hatchet. It comes neatly boxed ready to wrap for a gift. I can see that it would be handy to have camping or surviving. Ozark Trail has always been good for their quality camping and hunting items at a reasonable price and this set seems to continue that theme.

I received the Ozark Trail 12-Pack Camping Tool Set in exchange for a review as a member of the Wal-Mart Spark review Team. This set comes with a Rubber Handle Machete That has a super sharp cutting edge on one side and a super sharp saw edge on the other side. It is 16 inches long from tip of handle to tip of blade and feels well balanced and rugged built and will cut with ease. It comes with a 10 1/2 inch hatchet which is also very sharp and has a paracord covered handle that is comfortable and easy to grip the blade also can be used to tighten or loosen nuts and bolts in 3 sizes 3/8, 1/2 and 5/8 and they perform well in larger areas. Next is a 9 1/4 inch knife also very sharp and covered with a paracord handle and the blade is 5 1/4 inch from tip to guard with a sharp cutting blade and serrated cutting edge close to the guard. There is a 2 3/4 inch long sharpening stone in case the edges need a little sharpening. All three cutting tools come with a nylon sheath that are well put together and have belt loops. All three cutting tools are made from thick enough material as to hold up to cutting , chopping, and sawing. The set also comes with 50 ft of utility cord, 2 6cm carabiners and a fire starter. Last is a 5 inch 180 luman LED aluminum focusing flashlight with 3 modes - high, low and flash and it comes with the batteries. This set is a well made great looking multi function set that is perfect for carrying in an RV or Travel Trailer and do what they are intended to do quite well.

I love this little kit, I thinks it's awesome to have around the house especially in an emergency. also, one day I'd like to experience camping and bring this kit with me.

Camping is a lot of fun for most people, especially if you have the right tools to tackle the chores, such as fethching wood for a fire, starting a fire for warmth or cooking, having a line for hanging suplies out of the reach of wild animal, and other such things not seen in city life. This tool set by Ozark Trails contains the following 12 items for your camping pleasure - be careful, the cutting tools are sharp. I already cut my finger just barely touching an edge: 1) a machete, 2) a scabbard for the machete, 3) an axe, 4) a scabbard for the axe 5) A knife, 6) a scabbard for the knife, 7) parachord (50 ft) 8) a whetstone 9) a spark maker for starting a fire 10) a flashlight (batteries included) 11) & 12) two 6cm carabinos

This Set of Ozark Trail 12-Piece Camping Tool Set in Mossy Oak Camo is really nice. The set also includes a small sharp Hatchet with Sheath, 50 foot utility cord, two 6 cm Carabiners, a Sharpening Stone & Fire Starter, and an LED Aluminum Focusing Flashlight, 180 Lumens with 3 modes, high, low, and flash: it uses 3AAA batteries which are included. And everything is equipped with holes so they can be hung. So again, this is a really nice, complete camping tool set that I recommend!

A 50 foot utility cord to tie up loose ends. There's even a sharpening stone and fire starter to top everything off. Makes a great gift for those outdoor people who enjoy roughing it.

The light has 180 lumens and comes with 3 aaa batteries. This would be a great gift for any outdoorsman!

Got this camping tool kit because I started wanting to try going camping and just from the feel of them they are solid. The flash light is bright and can be adjusted to wide and narrow beam. I really like the fire starter makes having carry matches or lighter not needed. The knives are sharp and will be very handy. I would recommend this for beginners or experienced campers.
