Gettysburg [Blu-ray]

Tim Burton's take on Planet of the Apes interesting a different view but not bad. Mark Walhberg has the lead with a good cast Set in years head a space program using chimps to explore situations in space send Mark to retrieve his training chimp and whined up into the future where apes rule the world %26 man is the servant cool turn of events. Other cast members Helen Bonham Carter (Burton favorite) Micheal Duncan Clark (Rip) I'm Roth %26 Paul Giamatti %26 Chris Kristofferson and others a different twist on the ending

This is probably the best film in regards to showing kind of what happened with Gettysburg and owning it on Blu-ray with a 1080 P picture quality is absolutely fantastic and I would recommend it for anyone. Who's a history or wants to know anything about the Civil War

This is my second-favorite Civil War movie. (Glory is first). Jeff Daniels was really great as Chamberlain (BAY-O-NEEETS!). Lang was good as Geo Pickett, but even better as Stonewall Jackson in Gods %26 Generals. The Armistead- Hancock angle was a little over-done, but the battle scenes, authenticity, and music were all great.

I got the Director's Cut of Gettysburg after visiting Gettysburg. The movie is filmed on location and is quite historically accurate. Great performances by all in the movie. A definite must have for all civil war history buffs. The movie tells the story of the events that lead up to the most bloody battle to take place on American soil and the aftermath.

This is a great film adaptation of one of the worst events in US history.

Have this on DVD but wanted to obtain it in Blu Ray format. Arrived quickly and in manufacturer's wrapper.
