Ghirardelli Dark Melting Wafers (30 Ounce)

I love Ghiradelli melting wafers. I wish Sam's Club carried them year round. Placed a large online order to pick up in the store. Sam's website said $2.00 off per bag. Disappointed to find out the sale price was limited to the purchase of 4 bags. The website didn't indicate a limit. I bought them anyway because I can't find this size anywhere else throughout the year.

There were only 2 bags left when I went to purchase some. Wish they were kept in stock year round.

My wife has incorporated ghiradelli Dark Melting Wafers in her family truffle recipe ever since Sams started to carry them. Unfortunately they seem to be only available at Sams seasonally. and not at all locations at that. That leaves us out of her great truffles, and with a void in out sweet tooth.

I just finished making dipped oreo cookies. This time I used Trader Joe's seasonal cookies with bits of peppermint in them. The Ghirardelli chocolate wafers melt easily in the microwave. Try adding a few drops of peppermint oil to the melted chocolate for a slight mint taste with regular oreos (or buy mint oreo cookies).

Every year, I make homemade caramel turtles. I use this chocolate for dipping the caramel/pecans. All 1400+ pieces! It's easy to use. I melt it in the microwave before adding to the pan I'm dipping in. Because I make so many, I start with 4 bags of wafers. Then going forward, I just put the wafers directly into the pan I dip in. They melt easily.

Love both white and dark chocolate! Melts easily. Reheats well. Delicious! I use every year to dip shortbread for Christmas cookies and a holiday chocolate bark. Have used for strawberries and other fruit as well. I hate when it goes out of stock after the holiday season.

I love when Sam's gets this every year! Such a great deal for a great chocolate. My only complaint is they don't carry it year round :) I stocked up!

I love getting my chocolate at Sam's Club! Wish it was available year round. I use it all year I make Gourmet Double Chocolate Caramel Apples. So I am upset when it is gone.

My wife uses them for hot Chocolate Bombs for the grandkids and one or two for me. She also makes mocha chocolate truffle balls Delicious. The Ghirardelli taste great !
