Used these to remove / reduce voles in our yard. After buying a >100 of 2 other brands with mixed results over 2 years, I bought these and used only about 8 of them. The voles are greatly reduced or gone. I gave them 4 stars because they are not as easy to use as the Victor ones with self igniters on them, you have to put a fuse in the end before lighting it and hope it doesn't fall out. I'd give them 4.5 stars if I could and am recommending them to some neighbors.

They definitely produce plenty of smoke - more than others that I have tried. You get plenty, so if you don’t succeed with the first one, you have many more attempts.

You have to find a good mole tunnel and insert it deep into the hole, then cover the hole with something to keep the smoke in. These things will kill the grass surrounding the hole if you don't get most of the smoke to go down into the tunnel. I have tried these on several mole tunnels. They didn't kill the mole, but they were a lot more fun than the traditional traps.

I don't know what works best to get rid of moles but these don't do the trick. I felt like I was buying the moles cigars.

Old product - only 1/2 burned. New from Ace Hardware burns all of it.............New product burns all the way up - nothing left. One would not even ignite. Do not buy from this reseller !!
