Gibson Soho Lounge Square 16-Piece Dinnerware Set - Stone Gray

I was a bit unsure as some reviews said the red was more like orange, but to me the color is perfect. They go great with my kitchen colors and decoration. They have a good strong weight to them, have not tried them in the microwave yet, but they do say microwave safe and I don't really think there will be a problem with that.

They are Stoneware, very sturdy, microwaveable, and dishwasher safe. I prefer to hand-wash them as the dishwasher can dull the color over time. I bought 2 sets for my daughter and she is very pleased with the durability, color (Red/Black), and the style (Square). I paid $29.00 per set...best gift I ever gave.

Came in a big package with bubble wrap to ensure no breaking. 5 little packages came inside the smaller box. Opened each one with delight as they were truly gorgeous! Makes a great gift (buying for a friend's wedding) as its affordable and a nice quality.

I purchased this dinnerware for my boyfriend as a surprise. I must say they are very nice and EXACT color and match to the picture online! I am not finished yet, but I can't wait from him to arrive home from Afghanistan and see his new table setting.

Heavier than you would expect. Beautifully done. For $38 the price is unbeatable. Table ready for guests, I really like them I just think the purple would have been more my test, but red is good too. Great first apartment gift.

While I am happy with the purchase, the color disappoints. From the picture it looks to be a true red. It is not. When looking for fabric to make place mats to match it turns out it is a color called "Oxblood". Really more of a Burgundy color. If you are looking for a better red, Gibson makes a set called Evening Blossom that is a bit more expensive and is carried at some Walmart stores. I found a platter online that will suffice for this, since there are no serving pieces available, but I really think I should have gotten that one. Oh, well. Live and learn!

I ordered this product just in time to use it for thanksgiving. -The dinner plates are a very good size. -The smaller plates are a suitable size for a small salad or a small variety of deserts. -The bowls are not completely round, but it is something a little different from just the normal round plates most people have. They also stack lopsided when they are incorrectly stacked(so stack them the same way). -The cups are a regular 1 serving cup and are not as heavy as a regular mug. -The color is spot on and is as beautiful as the colors in the pictures.

Likes - rich color, square shape, oven and dishwasher safe. Very pretty! Dislikes - easily chips and cracks. I bought a set a couple of years ago and almost every plate is cracked now, which is why I bought another set.

We bought these dishes in the most beautiful blue. After less than a month we have had several chips appear after using the dishwasher. We have never had this problem before. For the price it's good I your not embarrassed entertaining guests with chipped dishes.

Chips really easily. I clinked two plates together as I was putting the dishes away.. and the freaking corner chipped. I bought these to replace a different (cheaper) set I had for 8 years and none of my cheap plates chipped from clinking against each other. Super annoyed about it.
