Good package, altogether seemingly durable
Nice and neat package, seems appropriate for Scout. Looks durable and hopefully many years of use. I'm not quite sure how to configure the binding rope on the utensils, I suppose I'll figure it out at some point. Maybe camping rope is a better option for you her kids that will likely lose one of the utensils.

Durable
My son used this set on a week long camping trip. It was durable, easy to clean and pack around. The folding cup handles are a nice addition.

Practical, Easy, and No Wimpy Knife!
This little dish set was PERFECT for our camping weekend! The knife's serrated edge cuts well. We made steaks over the camp fire, and that knife went right through the meat. No flimsy, wimpy blade here! I love that the utensils are kept together by a cord, yet you can easily pull individual pieces off the cord when you're ready to use, then slide them all back together when you want to put them away. The cup held up to being used on our little camp stove to boil water. Caveat, make sure you use a pot holder to pick the cup up, even if you extend the handle away from your heat source. Overall this was extremely functional, easy to clean, easy to store in its drawstring bag, and it was so great we bought a third set to give away as a gift.
