Golden Rewards Chicken and Sweet Potato Dual Flavor Treat Sticks for Dogs, 16 oz Bag

Highly recommend golden rewards treats, our boys love them! We stopped buying the cheaper treats years and years ago after our oldest boy who is resting in peace, became ill. Better quality with better ingredients is the way to go. Great for large breeds and strong chewers!

Would like to see more of the product in its packaging, more for the money. My dog does really like this snack. I like the fact that it's a treat that doesn't have any rawhide or other questionable ingredients in it. It's real food! Sincerely, Debbie from Traverse City, MI P.S. This is Vinny's favorite treat! (15 yr old Pug)! Now that he's older, he needs something that is chewier and not so hard. He's always been a fan of sweet potatos. Even as a super senior, Vinny still enjoys his daily walks. The walks are shorter than they used to be, but we still go out a few times a day. When it's time to walk home, (after he's done doing his business) this treat is his reward. In fact, giving him this treat is the only way I can get him to start walking home! It doesn't matter where we are, or what we are doing, as soon as I give him this treat, he eagerly takes it and starts walking towards our house. He proudly carries it in his mouth all the way home. A few times, people driving by have had to stop and laugh at him. The only complaint I have in regards to this treat is I can only find them at Walmart. When Walmart runs out, which has only happened a couple times (because I have learned to stock up) Vinny gets very mad at me. When Vinnys doesn't have his treat, it turns our short walks into very long walks. Vinny refuses to go home without his treat. More than a few times, I've had to carry him home.

My dogs are picky when it comes to their treats and I was unsure if they would like these or not but they loved them and the best thing is they can chew them up totally no raw hide for them to choke on and it keeps them busy for a few minutes but what I like is they can eat the whole thing and they do not have raw hide at all

I have 4 Shihtzus, they are my babies, now that my children are grown. I spoil them way too much, but they have become accoustomed to when they get their treats. I am always on the lookout for good treats, that they would really enjoy, that doesn't break the bank. The one brand of dog treats that they have taken, eagerly everytime, without hesitation and any flavor treat I buy, they love it. And those are Walmart brand treats (Golden Rewards). They have many different types of treats and different size bags, so you can try out a new treat on you your dog, by getting the smaller bag, which is not that small, but several are 9.98 a bag and these are good sized bags, and the reasonable price, makes them all around my choice for my fur babies treats.

I got these because the Golden Rewards chicken sticks have been out of stock forever and they are my Husky's favorite. She seems to like these just as well. I like the soft texture. I thnk they are a little more expensive per ounce, but not dramatically so.

My fur baby loves these treats! She spurns any other treats offered until she gets her “tater.” These have a good texture and are easy to break in half so she gets 2 a day. They are easy for her 8-year mouthful of teeth to chew and I definitely will buy again and recommend them wholeheartedly.

These sweet potato with chicken treats are loved by my small and medium sized dogs. They are semi-soft ,chewable and you can break them by hand which will allow them to last longer when feeding 3 dogs. I wish they were still available at my local Walmart so I didn't have to order but they usually come quickly. My dogs definitely give a paws up.

We have a miniature American Eskimo who is (adorable) very fussy with food! He will literally ONLY eat certain brands or items and we have tried a lot of brands. Most he will refuse. I don't know what it is, but he will eat ANY of the Golden Rewards items! Any! They are good quality and you get a lot in each bag. He loves all of them, but he also really loves the Duck and Sweet Potato too.

These treats are not appropriate for small dogs. My dog (shih tzu) cannot chew these easily. He loves the flavor, but....The outer portion is hard and tough. The inside is soft and pliable. I have to peel the outer portion off and chop into tiny pieces for him to chew. He can eat the center without assistance.
