GoodCook Apple Corer and Wedger for Effortless Slicing

The GoodCook Apple Corer and Wedger is a great kitchen tool for slicing and coring not only apples but pears as well. It make short work of wedging the fruit; the blades are very sharp. They also suggested a way to get even slices from the apples and I tried it and it works! I will turn my apples stem side down from now on before attempting to slice them! Also, cleaning is a breeze!

The app allows me to see how much I'm spending without going over budget, it keeps you informed on my order, and delivered on time. It's a fantastic app that I'll keep using

I bought one for mine, and one for my parents house. These work great at slicing apples, oranges and smaller grapefruits. The handle is sturdy and it cleans easily.

I ordered it. I love them, I don't wanna cut an apple with a pairing knife. I want the apple slicer and I would recommend him to anyone/everyone!

The design of this apple slicer makes it easy to use and no torque on the wrist when bearing down with the slicer onto the apple. It's easy to pull the apple off of it and easy as well to clean after use.

The apple cutter works, but the blades require a lot of pressure to push through the apple, more than I expected. If the blades were sharper, it would make cutting much easier and smoother. That's really my only complaint. Other than that, it does the job, which is why I'm giving it four stars.

The product is not easy to use. It takes a lot of force (powe) to use and get an apple totally sliced to the bottom. Especially for an elderly person it is hard to use this product.

Very sharp, zips right through the apple. Can't say how long the blades will stay sharp at this point, or how long it will go without breaking (I've been through 3 slicers that have broken over time, 1 plastic like this one and 2 metal ones), but at the price it's not too painful to have to replace it. From my past experiences, I don't think it pays to buy a more expensive slicer.

This will slice your apples,but it takes a lot of hand and arm strength to get it to slice your apples.I've used other brands that work a lot better.I also didnt like that it didn't come with a cover for the blades

This wedger is not sharp. I like really crisp apples and I have to put all my strength behind pushing this down. I have to use it on a cutting board...it would probably break a plate...then pull the apple apart at the bottom. I wouldn't try it on something softer I'm sure it would only crush whatever I was trying to cut. Don't bother and buy one that costs more...
