GoodCook PRO Salad Spinner 6qt

This spinner is great. Forget all of the expensive ones, they are not half as good as this one. This is large, easy to use and has a handle which makes it easier to use. You cant do any better, regardless how much your spend - they are inferior.

I like the size %26 sturdiness. Easy to turn %26 rinses %26 drains well. I'll be using to for fruits %26 veggies along with anything canned that needs to be drained as well.

This salad spinner is simple and easy. It doesn't have the stop button that other spinners have, but it really has not mattered. I'm stopping 8 oz of moving lettuce, not a jet engine. Let's settle down. And it's a sea foam tealish color.

Has handle on water drain most don't have great for seniors says 6qt but only drain -basket is only 4.5 but still adequate simple and spin handle ergo design for seniors as well

I never used spinner before, it was reasonably priced. It's larger than I expected, so able to add plenty of lettuce. Stays fresh for several days in fridge but needs plenty of shelf space.

I really like it. Put dirty lettuce in and water and spin. That's it, and I just leave the lettuce in the strainer until I'm ready to assemble my salad.

when I first got it I thought this is way bigger than I need but after its first use I was very pleased with the size - worked great for drying my lettuce and cabbage

originally I bought the oxo automatic salad spinner and the force of the wheel is not strong enough to dry out literally anything. so I bought this Good Cook Pro Salad Spinner 6 Quart. I took it out of the packaging and tried spinning it spinning it is just a tad awkward but it has a poor spout which means that you can spend and pour the water out and spin and pour the water out and I think that's a very good feature I think hand cranking gives a lot more centrifugal force then the automatic pump type. yes it will walk all over the counter while you're spinning If I decide to keep it, I'm going to glue a rubber mat under it. You know, those shelf mats that comes in rolls, that's what I'm going to use.

Sorry, I tried to cancel right after I purchased. I found another salad spinner I like better and purchased it from Walmart. It was delivered and I like THAT salad spinner. So I am returning this one. TY.

The design is promising. It needs to have a non slip bottom. It slides on my counter. When I'm draining the lid comes off. And the holes are too big. My carrot shreds fell right into the sink from the drain holes. Spinning with your hand will get tiring. Finally, the lettuce was still so wet. I like the pump spinner better. Easier to use, stays in place and only needs a couple of pumps.
