I had purchased a larger size previously and thought this one would be an exact replacement but it's much smaller. But, it works perfectly with the bag of much-smaller apples I purchased, also. I am a pescatarian and enjoy eating fresh fruits that are easy to prepare. This slicer is is to use and clean.

Sturdy and clean slices
Red is a fun color to plain kitchen utensils. It is sturdy when Inapply my weight and strength on it. Typical as apple slicers doA it doe as not cut through the very bottom so you have to struggle to get pieces out. Typical.

Great slicer
Easy to use. I like to snack on apples. This apple slicer is easy to use and with very little pressure. Because I have arthritis in my hands this a great asset to my kitchen.

Apple de-corer
Impressed how easy and nicely it de-cored an apple. However, it did not cut through the entire apple as I had to pull the slices from it. Perhaps it takes time working with this gadget.
