I LOVED the previous 3-way model! I used it for every sport and travel adventure that life would throw at me it lasted 4 years before it slowly started breaking apart. This 2.0 model has the ball joint that is a game changer! However the tripod stand cannot longer be de attached and the joints feel light and cheap. It's been almost a year since I got it, with moderate use (I slowed down with extreme sports) and it is already loosing grip and the join ball doesn't hold as strong as before. The screws don't fully turn to hold the arm anymore, feel like I'm waiting for them to snap one day. I hope the 3.0 model will have better and sturdier joints for the arm!

It didn't last and the top part just started loosening and no longer has a grip to the swivel. It just doesn't hold anymore. Very cheap quality.

I bought because I wanted to use my Peak Design case/mount with it as an iPhone tripod. . . . its 'ok' but just not stable enough and its easy for it to shake when iPhone is mounted. Its almost like the top arm that connects to the swivel ball needs to be much more rigid. Again, its 'ok' but if there's even a little bit of wind, forget about this keeping the iPhone still.

While in theory its a great design, the build quality is poor and inconsistent. On my first iteratuion of this tripod, one of the screws that loosens and tights the articulating arm, locked up and could never be undone again. On my second and most recent purchase, the same screw just turns in endless circles and doesn't tighten at all. Plus the rubber part that locks in the mount does not fit, and the ball joint barely locks into place - the slightest bump and it wobbles around. Completely useless right out of the packaging.

The stuck is very heavy to carry around and not ergomonic enough to hold. I had the previous one and compared to this , the new one is a downgrade. Also, it is bulky. Not easy to adjust. The top mount adds.more to the bulkiness, one cannot screw the camera directly on the stick. Very heavy to carry for underwarer. I am.very disappointed with this purchase.
