LOOOOONG Battery Life!
I've had just about every model thus far. I went hiking two weeks ago for just a little under 2.5 hours....I only used ONE battery for the entire hike! The camera was on the entire time. Whether I was recording, taking pictures, or leaving it on in between uses. Love it!

Batteries started expanding a year after purchase
I have used 2nd gen and 3rd gen batteries for my various GoPros. My 2nd gen batteries work fine still, years after use. My 3rd gen failed within a 12-18 months after purchase.

Even in warm weather it doesn't last long
I own a few of these for my GoPro10. I use them on my motorcycle helmet. My settings are not crazy and I've tried to make them battery friendly. One of these batteries will not last more than about 1 hour and 20 minutes. It's so annoying. I've taken to using a large battery charger we used for Disney to keep in my pocket to connect to the GoPro for any trip over 2 hours (which is most of them). These are just such a hassle.
