Gorilla Waterproof Patch & Seal Black Tape 4 inch x 10 Foot Roll

I absolutely loved this for the purpose of the purchase. The only reason I gave it a middle of the road rating for ease of use is because it's sticking power is incredible and if you don't get it just right the first time.....forget it, there is no repositioning. It is incredibly strong.

I have a treadmill that's about 25 or 30 years old and well used. A hole popped up in the tread belt joint. I'm not ready to give up on it. I ordered this tape and so far it's working great. It's VERY sticky which is good, but once it's down it's not coming up easily which is why I gave 4 stars on ease of use. Try to put it where you want it the first time. I've lots left over as I only had to use about a foot or so. I would definitely buy this again.

Holds up well over time. The tape I applied 3 years ago is still doing the job. It is so sticky it is a little cantankerous to use but that is the cost of good adhesion! Don't peal off 3 foot pieces and expect not to get all twisted. Work with as small a piece as possible!

This is the best patch fix tape I've used. The fiberglass shower wall has a bad crack in it. This has held up so well it's not nearly as stressful and urgent to replace it. It's bought me some time so that's cool. The paper backing comes right off too, others have stuck and messed up the roll. This is awesome.

So far I like it. I've been using it to cover holes in our hoses and seems to work great. It stretches and forms around the hose. The fact that it has a backing you peel off gives the glue more sticking ability. You will have to have a good pair of sharp scissors to cut the tape and leave an inch of the clear backing on the roll so it'll be easier to peel the end for next use. I'd buy and use it again. It's better than buying another expensive hose everytime one springs a leak.

that is like a film that protects the sticky side so you will have to peel that off before you use it however if you have to layer it or it's not a completely 100% what surface it is not flesh with the surface it's more just around it so it's going to end up coming apart especially if it does get wet but it does work well in water

As I have seen other complaints; i too agree that in NO WAY is this 8ft! The price per footage and thin quality of this tape therefore; is pretty steep in my opinion! i probably wont be buying anymore Gorilla products, because they all seem a little "cheap quality" at a named brand price!

I bought this after my dog bit the garden hose in excitement. He loves water and was trying to get to the nozzle when he bit down and punctured the hose. Wrapping the hose with the Gorilla tape isn't hard but it is extremely sticky and doesn't release easily once it touches something. The problem is that it isn't strong enough to hold back household water pressure. After a bubble formedb almost immediately after the water was turned on, the tape gave up and blew a hole right over the hole in the hose. Thinking maybe it was a freak failure I tried again and again, it sprang another leak almost immediately. Save the money and headache and just buy a plastic or medal hose repair kit.

I'm only giving this 1 star because I have repeatedly unsubscribed from these stupid emails asking me to review things and they keep sending them. So going forward everything will get 1 star regardless of its actual quality. Maybe a couple of suppliers will see this and escalate to Wally World to fix their system.

I bought this because I had a leak under my sink on one of the pipes %26 I use Gorilla Glue for my crafts %26 thought it would work great. It did not. It is so hard to get all the air bubbles out to make a seal (I guess that's why it didn't work). So, I am purchasing the Flexi Seal caulk to see if it will work.
