GOYA Black Beans, 4 lb Bag

The beans were actually wonderful but the packaging and the delivery it was trash seriously I have asked repeatedly to have you guys deliver things to my apartment door instead of my auto lobby where my purchases could be stolen you know all right guys come on y'all gotta do better than this seriously

I wanted black canned beans but i saw this bagged. I decided to try it mainly because it would be close to $10 for that many cans of beans. I put half the beans in a pot of water, left it there overnight and in the morning rinsed them and put them in the slow cooker with garlic, and Adobo spices (Hispanic isle) till they were very tender and the water had thickened. Genius! Served with chopped onions and sour cream.

As a vegetarian I have to rely on beans a lot. Just made these into a delicious stew using sun-dried tomatoes, lots of minced garlic, bouillon, spices, & dehydrated mixed vegetables. Yummy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

4 lb. is too much for me. I should of buy 2 small ones.

I love black beans, unfortunately I think I received old stock. They took too long to cook, too much water, after 2-3 hours, they were still too hard to eat. It may not be the brand's fault, maybe the store needs to get rid of their old stock.

It's not 4 lb exactly. I weighed it and it's 3lb 15 oz. It's so unfair. I paid for 4 lb, nothing less than that!!

I didn't ask for this; I only asked for the small package. I don't understand why they added this one.

bags of beans left on (dirty) porch mat. This is food, the bags have holes for ventilation. Should have been bagged or boxed and kept clean. An unpleasant reminder picture was just sent to me by walmart. This order was from may it is now august.
