GOYA Thai Jasmine Rice, 5 lb Bag, Fat-Free, Low Sodium, Gluten Free

It's a good thing Walmart came to their senses %26 dropped the price! I had the item in my cart, waited overnight and BAM!! When I went to do one last review of the items and noticed the price had gone up by $2. So I removed it from my cart and went straight to Goya's competitor's brand to buy it instead. Same size but for 4 bucks cheaper! Haven't tasted the other brand's Jasmine rice yet. But the fam and I LOVE this Goya brand. Not gummy, or starchy tasting! Got to be GOYA! 😋

Best bang for buck on jasmine rice right now. 11 bucks for 5 pounds , though in the future that price will likely change when its not on sale but still quality rice.

I liked that it is a wholesome food and was filled with goodness. The rice is indeed good but if you are going to be eating a lot of rice I suggest that you buy two or three different types that you know you like so that you have some variety in your diet and you don't get burnout of one specific type of rice.. The reason I bring this up is because rice is good for you but I suggest finding ways to season it if you are not a diehard rice fan that can eat it plain, that also works if you only want to eat one type of rice. I cook it by boiling the water then adding the rice and putting it on the lowest it will go but still cooking (don't take my advice though look up how to cook rice from somewhere online) I cook it at an elevation of 1600 feet for 20 mins and usually takes 1 cup rice to 2 1/4 cups water due to the way the water boils at a different temperature just that tinsey tiny bit instead of a 1:2 ratio and also I don't like it sticking to the bottom of the pan at the end of the cook cycle. You need to decide for yourself if you and or your family or guests will enjoy this rice but I can tell you I have already had 2 or 3 servings of rice so far out of this bag and it was a real treat for me to eat it.

This is my new favorite Jasmine rice brand hands-down never like Goya's long grain and white rice before, but I definitely like their jasmine definite improvement

So surprised at how great the rice is. First time trying Jasmine rice and it was so easy to fix in the crockpot. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

It stays fresh long because it's packed in a Ziploc bag. It's a little better than the traditional Goya rice, but it's not the same as regular Asian style jasmine rice.

This is the best rice I truly recommend.

NOW maybe its me but the aroma I do not smell. Not sure if its the brand or maybe something else. But Love this rice even if it doesn't have the strong aroma scent. I have tried different brands and my family prefer this one
