Guess I'm spoiled to fresh garlic. I did not like this product at all. Really affected the taste in a negative way of the dish I prepared.

horrible smell. it will stink up ur entire refrigerator even if u put it into another container (in addition to the jar its already in). just awful

One of the two containers had been hit on its lid long ago which in turn left the underside of the lid black with mold. The garlic inside was turning bad - this makes me feel like I should always shop for myself. They send dented cans, food that's about to turn and things that are about to expire.

Expired. Just bought/arrived yesterday (12/13/2023) - date on jar - August 2023!

I usually buy the organic variety of a different brand. I wash and reuse every jar, even the ones that held garlic, and it's usually not very difficult to get the garlic smell out of the lid. This time I tried Goya, and the garlic seemed okay. What bothers me is the lid. With Goya, I've had the lid soaking in vinegar and coffee grounds for WEEKS and cannot get rid of the smell. Seems entirely unnatural to me. I'll go back to the organic variety I used to use, wondering what the heck chemicals Goya puts in their garlic that makes the smell last forever. I don't want it in my body. Not all that sure I want the jar now. I'll pass on pesticides and artificial fertilizers. Cheap food now, expensive hospital bills later.
