Goya piloncillo was such a great purchase. Cost was reasonable, quality was fantastic. Piloncillo can literally be very hard but this one was so easy to work with. It's a beautiful caramel color and it tastes good. I will buy it again and recommend it.
This has been a traditional product in my family. My mom uses this, for our for Arroz con Leche. we don't use condensed milk, just the evaporated and regular milk with the vanilla extract and cinnamon sticks. Buen. Provecho or Bon appetit! 😉
We use this for Filipino desserts for New Year's day and let me say that this is LOADS better than what is made from my motherland! It is so good when we're mixing it with fresh coconut meat for Filipino Rice Cakes! I will buy it again.
A staple in our kitchen for certain beverages and syrups. Excellent quality. A bit pricey, but worth it.
Never fails. Always fresh and the perfect amount of sweet.
Sweetness and tastes are great.
I do really like this Colombian Panela/Piloncillo; there is only one ingredient: Cane Sugar Juice.
grear quality
The flavor is delicious the one thing is breaking the cone up was difficult you need a chisel or a hammer to break it up. but once you've received that it will enhance your baking cooking use.
ok. i wanted some dark brown sugar. none to be had for miles from most grocery stores..not just my walmart super store. so I thought Ill just buy this.. it's probably close enough...NO. NO IT ISNT. It was as hard as a rock pyramid wrapped in plastic wrap. So i thought I'll smash it into smallish pieces and grind them up in my coffee grinder. NO. IT DIDN'T WORK. Yes the grinder did its job. but the chuncks turned into a sticky wet fine powder. so i just threw the chunks and powder out and cleaned up my coffee bean grinder and saw today that the store has dark brown sugar. Not to put this product down because im surd it has a very specific and direct use in Mexican cuisine.
