Goya Red Kidney Beans, 16 oz

GOYA RED KIDNEY BEANS 16oz bag is Red but not dark red. The taste is mild after cooking. These beans digest faster than Dark Red Beans. I don't need to soak them overnight because these are light. The taste become very good when saute with Onion Garlic etc %26 mix half spoon if MDH chicken Curry masala. These beans are perfect taste with basmati rice.

great price for a name brand and they dont fall apart.

It could be just me, but these did not cook as well and as easily as the black beans. A little too firm. I'm sure if I had the time it would have been better. Just make sure you have flexible time when preparing to make adjustments if necessary.

Great for homemade Boston baked beans, always a winner.

we love kidney bean but I find them to hard to cook. Cooking beans in the oven was the best option and I find that out talking to a worker at walmart

Bad substitute

When I read the full description I wasn't sure what to think. Initially I saw Red Kidney beans for over $9 plus nearly $5 in shipping and almost moved on to another ad. That's an insane price for 16oz of beans. But under the item description it noted there were 24 packages in the carton. That seemed way too inexpensive, but I took a chance and ordered the item. It was one package of beans - WOW - very disappointed!
