Great parboiled rice
The absolute best rice and last a long time . I ordered two bags in April and I'm finally in the second back and it's July.

Easy to cook, Clean profile, THE BEST DEAL!
This is an amazing deal for a great quality Parboiled rice. The reason why I prefer this rice is for it's clean profile, you can never overcook it. It is foolproof, and the price can't be beat. I shop on many websites and I learned that Walmart has some of the BEST deals on everyday groceries and the choice is amazing!! Great rice and I will be buying more. Try cooking rice pilaf the Mediterranean style using this rice, you will not be disappointed.

This rice consistently cooks up firm, fluffy with separate grains. It's essentially fool-proof. Minor timing mistakes never seem to matter. Because it's parboiled, I don't have to starch-rinse this rice. The large bags are deeply budget friendly.

Too hard to chew
the rice is to hard even after cooking. I followed the instructions on the bag and also added additional water. still too hard to chew.

Damaged bag
5 lb bag of rice was leaking in container and showed signs of someone trying to patch the bag before it was shipped. Unsatisfactory and I don't like food that has been tampered with

Rice from Brazil Quality????
I have been eating rice for over 50 years. Parboiled is the best for Seniors. But this rice is from Brazil a country not know for quality food. Better to purchase U.S. Grown rice for quality. I threw out item when I saw country of origin

Nasty chemical odor
This rice smells like some kind of cleaning fluid. I opened the bag and the uncooked rice smelled weird; I cooked a cup, thinking I must be imagining that, but the cooked rice also smelled awful and a small taste confirmed that there was something very wrong with the product. Threw away the cooked rice.
