Absorbs the sauce well
I am no Italian food expert, but I like to mix this pasta with an abundance of tomato sauce. I typically cook some meat and vegetable in the tomato sauce and add to the pasta. Then, I add some shaved Parmesan cheese.

Real Pasta can be cooked Napolitano!
Napolitano is my favorite prep of pasta. Many brands are formulated to ALWAYS come out "Al Dente" (AKA RAW, Half-cooked, and crunchy). But Barilla's comes out exactly how you want it, just by cooking it long enough... like it's supposed to...

Good Pasta, but I Prefer the Protein One
Classic taste and quality, though I lean toward the high-protein version. Barilla's classic penne pasta cooks evenly and holds sauce beautifully, just like you'd expect from this brand. The texture stays firm and consistent, making it a reliable choice for quick meals or pasta salads. That said, I personally prefer Barilla's High Protein variety for the extra nutrition, but this original version is still excellent quality and dependable every time. Helpful Insight: For the best al dente texture, cook it about a minute less than the box recommends — it finishes perfectly once mixed with hot sauce or ingredients.

Barilla is the best pasta
Barilla penne is my favorite pasta. And Walmart sells and delivers a convenient multi pack. Tanks Walmart. However, the instructions are WRONG!. Cooking penne for the recommended 11 minutes would ruin them. "Al dente", as the Italians like it, only requires 9 minutes ( or - 15 seconds according to personal taste)j.

Delicious Pasta, everyone loves it. Easy to cook, comes out soft and tasty. Add some cheese and sauce and you have yourself a full meal.

This my go to pasta..It is so easy to cook and retain its shape after cooking. It is yummy and filling for dinner.

This pasta is delicious. Only downfall I had was there was four burnt pieces of pasta, literally black pieces of pasta, but it was really really good.
