Contadina Tomato Sauce, Canned Tomatoes, 15 oz Can

I use this along with a piece and it is the best thing you ever have. It's so much better to make your own that way you can add bay leaves, garlic, oregano, and make it taste very good. I also mix it with green peppers and boil it for about 15 minutes. It tastes great.

Contadina Tomato Sauce, Canned Tomatoes, 15 oz Can, is well worth the money. it's tasty amd can be used on many things you are cooking, usually keep a couple cans in my pantry.

From the early 1950s to today, Contadina is a time-honored family tomato staple. Whether it's the sauce, paste or tomatoes (whole or diced), all family recipes include Contadina. The sauce is gently seasoned, the paste is richly red and the tomatoes are old work flavorful. It is why my Mother would only accept Contadina. It is also why generations after do too!

If you are making sauce Contadina is the way to go. You pay a little more, but it's well worth it consistently and taste. This is not a bottled sauce. You can find this in different sizes.

Of the five Contadina tomato sauces I ordered, I received three Tomato Sauces and two Italian Herb Sauces.

Nearly every can in this case was badly dented, and it wasn't done in shipping! You couldn't see any of the damage on the outer sides of the case, because all of the dents were turned inward. Someone DELIBERATELY packed damaged product and sent it! And then to make it even worse, when I put in for a replacement, you wanted me to repack all of those cans and return them?! I'll just buy my tomato sauce from Amazon from now on!

These arrived in a shipping box loose and had been banging around inside the box. The box was damaged, had actual holes in it, and 5 of the 12 cans were dented, which increases risk for botulism. Super annoying, because the other Contadina tomatoes delivered in the SAME BOX were packaged in a multipack box of their own.

Ordered a 4 pack of Contadina tomato sauce from WalMart.com. Received in padded WalMart box via UPS. Shipping box not damaged. All can products in order are dented with expiration dates of January 2022. Shipping damaged production line products to unsuspecting consumers with complex return processes. As for pics, we have all seen dented cans at the store in the clearance rack. I paid for undamaged shelf stable product in bulk.

I received the dented can of tomato sauce. I need a refund please because this can is unusable and I have to throw it away.
