Definitely buy this brand. i have had some bad luck with the walmart brand because i kid you not sometimes the cans are almost empty! when they are newly opened. with this brand you get consistent flavor and texture, and the can is always filled to the rim.

What can I say it came?It was a good date on it . This is a consistent product for me. i have rarely had any problems with this paste. It is a good paste for which I use for many recipes. one of those recipes is a winter barbecue sauce.. where I use a lot of spices like chili power ginger cinnamon pepper salt and a dash of cumin. and whatever I'll feel like.. but always fresh garlic.. I do add water. and this gives a deep savory barbecue sauce. I sometimes put a splash of vinegar or lemon in it to brighten it up a little. tamari , regret , i've never written down this recipe one I do to to taste. i help this review helps you and gives you some ideas. and that's my perspective

I've used this product for over 45 yrs. and it's the best canned tomato paste I've used. The texture is what I want for my tomato sauces and I always get allot of wonderful comments on it.

Best tomato paste ive ever used. great gor thickening spaghetti sauce and adding flavor to it. Highly recommended. The on l y tomato past our famoly uses.

Have used Hunts Sauces for many years and love the texture and taste. They have just the right amount in can for use with your recipe. Easy to use and delicious. They enrich your food and give it a better texture and taste.

It had very little sweetness which is perfect IMO for tomato paste. Very tart. I have nothing to offer about price since, at this level, quality trumps price always.

So convenient that our Walmart started carrying a few groceries like essentials like tomato sauce and paste and what a lifesaver too!!!! Thank you Walmart!!!

I ordered Contadina; received Hunt's. I wouldn't buy this if I was in the store and it was the last thing on the shelf. Horrible taste and texture, exceedingly bitter.
