I always keep a jar of Prego Marinara Sauce in my pantry. It has a rich, classic tomato flavor that tastes like it's been simmering all day. It's the perfect base for a spaghetti dinner, and I can throw it together in minutes. It's not too acidic or sweet, just a perfectly balanced sauce that everyone in the family enjoys.
It is worth the little extra for this for me anyway! It is the taste that I halve been looking for , a homemade taste. I am sure that you enjoy this taste.!!
you can go wrong with marinara Prego it makes a delicious lasagna or pasta whatever you decide to make with it it's going to turn out good because the chunks of tomato are so good in here
What is a Big Football Game party without mozzarella sticks? Naked mozzarella sticks just don't cut it. Marinara sauce to the rescue. The Prego Marinara is a little bit chucky so it is not just flat sauce. It pairs very nicely and is a very good value.
This is my family's favorite sauce. we use it with ravioli, lasagna, spaghetti and more. Tis is the closest we can get to Grandma's sauce without making it ourselves. it has the perfect amount of spices and sweetness.
I first purchased this last year and loved it. I have made marinara and purchased expensive specialty sauce and this is still my favorite. I used it on pasta, meatball subs, etc. The flavor is perfect for what I like. I bought it at Walmart then I couldn't find it. Over and over I tried so I ended up buying some online. Stocked up this time.
Comes in a jar and not spicy or salty to me. Paired well with cheesesticks. Just don't get on shirt. I couldn't get stain out!
This marinara was all I used, for years. Now it’s hard to come across. Why??? I dont know. Stranger things have happened to products disappearing off the shelves in grocery stores. I hope they are not changing the recipe.
We used the Prego Marinara Sauce for our cheese sticks at our super bowl party and it was a big hit.
This item was a substitute on my order. It’s Marinara sauce. I use on top of flour tortillas along with pepperoni, chopped onions, green bell peepers, Canadian bacon and finely shredded cheese to make mini pizzas in the oven. I also use in place of spaghetti sauce quite a bit.
