Prego Italian Tomato Sauce with Basil & Garlic, 24 oz Jar

It's really good! I cooked some lean ground beef with fresh onion %26 bell pepper, added the Prego sauce, seasoned with salt, pepper, %26 Parmesan cheese, and served with penne pasta. Very good! Can use this sauce for a multitude of dishes. I recommend!

I prepared spaghetti and meatsauce using this can of Prego Italian tomato sauce. The sauce was very easy to prepare and added a perfect yummy blend to my spaghetti! It can be used ' as is' straight out of the jar or blended with your onions, mushrooms, and garlic to make your meal special.

My husband loves this brand. It doesn't get indigestion. It has the right seasonings for just spaghetti. But even nicer for those hot pasta side dishes. You can make a couple of days worth. Then just add chicken or any kind of meat each time. Or those quick pizza's on an English muffin. Really nice!

My order was brought to the car in a timely manner. All items were correct in the order. And I didn't have to walk around the store to find everything.

I've bought this particular sauce many times. It has a great flavor and consistency. Don't be afraid of the basil or garlic tastes -- they're very subtle but add depth of flavor.

At 80 y/o I no longer have the energy to make my sauce from scratch. Prego is a rich thick sauce, that once I add my own special touches, can't be beat! The price and fast delivery are great!

We prefer Prego pasta sauces because of the outstanding flavor that they have, and for me, they are also thicker than other brands, and I prefer that. The basil %26 garlic sauce has good flavor and you can add other ingredients as well.
