The station came in crystal clear and the sound was not only loud enough for all of us to hear but it was also immaculate. Very happy with our purchase through the first summer of owning it and looking forward to using it for the summers to come.

Love the handle. Only change I would love to see is an option for the light to the clock to stay on. Currently, it only shows during the time the button is pushed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The radio isn't bulky or encumbersome. The volume is pretty loud & clear for the size. It is short wave so if you need it to broadcast a little further, someone has to hold it or get a booster antennae. Clear display window, easy use functions.

Although its base is very light, Its sound quality is extremely high (especially for its size). The small size also makes it super easy to carry around everywhere. Really hard to tune in. Very sensitive. It is also very lightweight, but didn't work for me in the kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought many of this type of radio in the past, and this one is by far the most difficult to operate. The cover to put the batteries in the back is impossible to get off without tools to release the catches. I do not like that I doesn't show the time when the radio is playing. I got this radio specifically for local news and it's alarm feature. I am almost afraid to try and set the alarm. The one positive thing I can say is that it is small enough to fit on my night stand and the radio feature is exceptionally clear.
