Jensen LED Alarm Clocks, JCR-175 in Black color

We had an alarm clock that needed a Rocket Scientist to operate. I ordered this Clock radio and it is wonderful. It is simple to operate and works well. It is not too large but easy to see the time in the dark. Have since fired the Rocket Scientist. I highly recommend.

Pro- good price, like the green vs red for once. Numbers are large enough to see across the room easily. Small footprint. Radio wake feature, escalating loudness for hard-to-wake sleepers. Cons- there is a feature which made me return it- when the alarm goes off it gradually gets louder. If it were for me at my bedside that would be fine since i could turn it off once awoken however this was for my son who does not yet operate in that fashion so it means that by the time i get in his room the radio is way too loud. This would be ideal fora heavy sleeper though! Its actually a great feature if you need it,

I love the fact that you can have two alarms set, although it doesn't have as many features as some alarm clocks. It is a great product for the price though.

Purchased the cloack radio for use in my Guest bBedroom. A quality product for the prices. actually less cumbersome to use that the Sony Clock Radio I ourchased at the same time for my Master Begropom

This radio works in a pinch, but the sound is poor so it isn't a radio you would want to listen to other than as a wake up alarm. I set it for a low wake up sound but it comes on quite loud.

Product shown on-line is not the product that was sent even though it allegedly has the same model number. We were looking for a specifically simple alarm clock radio as was shown in the on-line. Instead, we got the updated super-digital version that we did not want. The simpler version has the old-style thumbwheel dials and easy "off" switch, etc., etc.... Instead, we got the dual-alarm more complex version. I'm sure the product is OK, but the correct photo of the item should also be shown on-line. No problem returning it to the local store.....will be shopping again soon for other things in the future.

cheap product! sound is not clear!! and multifunction buttons are not good! it makes you crazy! cause you loose your setting! green display is big and the green light is too much which can bother your eyes!

The clock may be okay but unless you have 20/20 eyesight or you are an engineer and understand what all the strange buttons mean the clock is almost useless as the instructions are written in 1/16th" font size. I called Jensen and they told me they would send User Guide that had friendly large font size.

Piece of junk. VERY HARD TO SET HOUR AND MINUTES!!!!! Threw in the garbage.

I had this clock for 2 weeks. I needed to change the alarm time and now the alarm will not set. I tried resetting it for 2 more weeks when I finally had to admit to myself that It is broken after only 2 weeks with no abuse or dropping it. The sound quality is terrible but that was expected with the low price.
