VTech CS6124 DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone with Answering System and Caller ID/Call Waiting, White

It's exactly what I needed, instead of getting a separate phone amd answering machine, this product has it all together, which means fewer cords. It fit in the same spot as my old phone, (same brand, and it lasted around 20 years!), so installation was simple. Really easy setup, great sound quality, excellent product with a great low price.

There were several things I liked. The ease of setup. I could chose to create my own answering message or go w the one programmed into the phone, it has caller ID %26 also the screen lights up to show the number calling. Got it on sale! I am pleased w my purchase.

Great experience in ordering and receiving package. It is a Christmas gift that I have not given to my grandson since he is out of town. But the ordering part was great.

My tweens want cell phones but they are very irresponsible. Also, I got tired of them borrowing my phone and not bringing it back. So they got a landline! They hate it and I love that for them. Good phone, works great!

I wanted home phone service but needed to buy a phone to use when I came across this phone. It was a good price and I always liked the VTech brand. Only thing I wasn't happy with is you can't block calls and there's no speaker phone option other than that it's a great phone.

I did not realize that it had no speaker feature. I thought that all cordless phones now had speaker. Whoops. That is a nuisance, but I paid for this thing and will use it till it wears out and dies on me. Easy enough to get set up but a bit different method than my previous so I had to actually think some. It does the job.

It's a very good phone. the only think I don't like is that it doesn't have the speaker and we have to keep it up to our ears to talk. The sound is good quality. It is very easy to check the messages and they sound clear unless someone talks very low.

I cannot answer this question because I ordered a phone I really needed quickly as my business phone broke. It was to be delivered the next day. 2 days later at 6 pm I was called from the local Walmart location to pick up my phone because the driver returned it to the store. I ask it to be brought the next day. 2 more days later it had not been delivered. I offered to pick it up but was assure it would be delivered. Later that day a message said my order was canceled. No explanation or reason. I ordered a phone from Amazon and it was delivered promptly and works great.

Instructions are terrible. It's just a basic phone and answering machine but lacks a simple set of instructions to show you how to operate the basics — for instance to navigate why of the menus no where does it say use the volume up and down buttons —- it's not intuitive and the buttons are slow to respond so You don't immediately see if that was the right response. I still can't figure out if it has a speakerphone option ! Kids toys are designed better than this.

There are multiple issues. First off, they delivered a returned phone to me. It had been opened and repackaged. The screen protector on the handset had been removed. Now for the VTech issues, the volume control doesn't work on all parts of the phone. The message alert is only able to be heard within approximately 5 feet with no adjustment available. There's no announcement of the name and/or number of the incoming call, you have to look at the handset or base. There's no speaker phone so you can set the handset down while on hold for hours. The most perplexing to me is Walmart only gives a 30 day return window for wireless phones sold and shipped by them. I was unaware of this policy, so now I feel ripped off twice, by Walmart and VTech. Never again will I buy anything electronic from Walmart.
