I purchased these for my elderly mom with dementia when she could no longer use iPhone. It has loud ringer so she can hear. Also has ringer turn down volume or turn off volume. She can hear crystal clear on conversations and very happy with this phone. Would give six stars if I could. It solved a major problem for us.

It has 14 speed dials, which is wonderful and it has a great sound. Most people ask me why I still use the landline and I tell them cell phone phones are for emergencies short calls but when you want to talk to a friend, it's so much nicer being able to sit in your home and talk on a regular phone where you can hear better and it's just better than cell phones and this phone works well

This is a much smaller version than the giant one that my elderly mother was struggling with. Really simple. The Volume control works, however the RINGER volume is not very loud, that was the only downside! Whether headset (hand-held receiver) or speaker phone, the tone and voice was crisp and clear. It does have Menu Options which is easily programmed, since today's is digital, the time, date, automatically configures without one having to input anything. Caller ID is sharp with no blurring or distortions. Contrast can be manually configured. Simple Phone for Simple People!

Works just like AT%26T model we previously had. We use it as a wall phone. Only downfall is the cord is too long to wrap around the back of the phone. We had to purchase a 6-inch cord and now fits flush to the wall. Just what we needed in the kitchen.

I purchased this phone for my 90 year old mother. She has difficulty hearing, so she rarely used the phone. The sound quality on this phone is excellent and the volume is adjustable. She is very happy that she can now enjoy conversations with friends and family. It also has speed dial and caller id which she doesn't remember how to use. The number buttons are large so she doesn't press more than one while dialing. Great purchase.

I bought this for my mother who is in the early stages of Dementia because she was getting confused on which buttons to push to answer and hang up with her cordless phone. She has been able to use this phone with ease thankfully.

Some reviewers have said that this phone has good sound, but I disagree. I have a 30-year-old Panasonic speakerphone that sounds much better. The other problem is that the handset and cradle have a rounded shape, so the handset keeps falling off the base. I returned this item, because I got tired of hearing the dial tone every time the handset fell off.

Purchased this telephone for my kitchen as a wall phone and intermittently I wouldn't get a dial tone. Currently after less than 4 months it's totally NOT working anymore with minimal use.

This phone is defective from the factory. I have purchased two of these phones, and both are defective. I had it checked out, thinking it may be my phone line or jack. Just to find out all other phones work on this phone line and this phone won't work on other phone lines or jacks. Don't buy it!
