VTech CS5249 Corded/Cordless Answering System with Extended Range

Well, Hubby was frustrated with our landline phone which required him to get up and walk over to sofa to talk on phone. He insisted we buy a phone which had a cordless handset with it. I ordered it from Walmart in the morning....AND IT WAS DELIVERED BY THAT AFTERNOON! Also, we are very happy with the phone itself...very easy even for two oldies to set it up. Thank You WALMART. Love the handset that comes with it. Going back to the old days. Optional cordless is great just got tired of always looking for batteries when cordless phone was low.

i really wanted a house phone but im starting to want the simple life from when i was a kid. i love this set, it works well with it being able to be in 2 different rooms in my home, super easy to set up and its perfect for my little home.

Very nice phone, good quality. But instructions are hard d to follow. Couldn't read the veery small print. Had to get something new this help me put it together and program it for me. Took me two months nths to find someone. Directions not senior friendly!!! It would be nice to Block someone if all you had to do was press a button. sound quality good. Has a lot been f functions I would never have occasion to use.

To be honest, I found the sound to be a disappointment. I have other phones that are vtech, and the sound is better than on this new phone /answering machine. Walmart is a pleasure to deal with. They are great.

The home base phone worked. But the cordless was never recognized. So Houston we have a problem. Normally this company comes thru shining. Maybe it's just a bad one. ?????

I am disappointed in this purchase. I was wanting a corded phone with seperate cordless phone. It was everythjng I was looking for, I was excited to have found it in store , however we have been having issues with the cordless phone. When answering the phone, sometimes the other phone kicks on, beeps, and you can't answer. Will probably have to return to store for another phone

Instruction manual poorly written and lacking in necessary info. Spent too much time searching Vtech's website which was useless. Ended up doing a lot by trial and error. Vtech will be a product to avoid for me in the future. If you love frustration buy yhis.

This phone had so much static you couldn't have a conversation and it was the phone. Other phones work fine but not this set. The set up on the back of the phone is difficult to get off and hook up also.

The wireless phone FIES NIT EORK OR CHARGE. You cannot hear with tge cordless phone. Nor can you view previous calls with telephone numbers. TOTAL RIP OFF! NOT WORTH IT! DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. I WISH I KNEW.
