VTech DECT 6.0 Expandable Cordless Phone with Call Block, CS6919 (Silver & Black)

It is a reassurance to us that we still have a landline telephone to use. I bought this to have for landline calls and I haven't had any issues with it.

Bought to replace our old VTEC phone which lasted forever. This is sleek and slick and I can hear the ring in my house. It's simple and I love it. It's a phone it rings you answer it the end.

Works well as a home phone. Easy to operate. Does not have a lot of extra functions, but we don't need them anyway. Great budget option for a basic landline.

I love the size. It's slender and fits well in my hand. Delivered with a picture of it on my porch, I didn't see the driver, but they sent back-to-back delivery time notifications. That's a plus. I'm hesitant about the phone because it's used. Spots and smudges shouldn't be on a new phone. I looked back at my order to make sure it was not refurbished. It's on charge, and I will know if I'll keep or return it. This comment would have been all fives if the phone's used appearance hadn't been present.

This is my 3rd phone. I bought this same phone several months back. I thought I would see how it worked before buying an extra satellite phone. After several weeks when I would try to dial, the dial tone was there, the numbers would beep but the phone did not dial the number. After about a week, the phone started working again. So, after several more weeks, I purchased the satellite version phone. All was well for another few weeks, when at that point both phones started to have the same problem the original phone had. Of course, if you would wait a week, it would fix itself. Seeing a trend here? Since I was invested in two phones, I thought I would replace the original unit with a new one, hoping to salvage my investment. At this point (again, several weeks later), all phones are working. The original phone was re-programed to work with this new base unit. It just does not have its own charging unit. I think (hope) the problem was in the original base unit. I guess I will find out in a few weeks!

Ordered online for delivery. It came via UPS quickly. The problem with phone is it is USED. Box had been opened, and packaging was missing. It powers up, but will not connect to the base. It was obviously returned defective and someone taped the box shut and resold it as new. NOT COOL. Obviously I will return it, but I'm out the time I waited for it and the time I have to put into returning it.

I have bought 3 V-Teck phones over past year and this last one lasted less than 24 hours, died over night, had phone repair come and check all and they said get a new one ... [big sigh] what crap these phones are, I will never buy another one from this company !!

I hooked this phone up and the in use light won't stop blinking even though the phone isn't in use. I looked up and completed the trouble shooting steps and this did not help. I can't return it as I don't have the packaging. Very upset

The product purchased did not specify on serial numbers relating to use ! Hence one has lost on the function of it em purchase! does not specify on the item being conducive with other Vtec products Regards
