GPX R602B AM/FM Portable Clock Radio, Black

I don’t like complicated tech. I want things that are simple, yet I want a good product. And this is it. I had it playing in a few minutes. And it has, as good as you can get, speakers . And that is good. I have had GPX before and it has always been trustworthy.

it's small and not very loud, which is a great thanks for the workplace because they were constantly fighting over volume in our shop it sounds good but it's not overbearing where you cannot hear what's going on around you I recommend this for workplace environments for background music it also has a very rich sound without being overbearing

I had originally bought this clock radio for me to be able to listen to music with headphones while falling asleep. But, as soon as the radio arrived, my teenage son decided he wanted it. So off it went to his room. He loves the radio. It is easy to find the radio stations and not too big so it fits well on his desk next to his computer. He listens to the radio with his headphones and is very happy with the radio. Naturally, the sound is not going to be the best without headphones, but the radio is very inexpensive. Good speakers cost a lot of money. I plan on buying another one of these radios so I can have it to listen to music when I am sleeping and also to listen to the radio while I am working at my computer. I am also pleased that it can be operated with batteries so we can listen to the weather and music if the power goes off from a storm. I love this little radio because it is small enough to not be in the way and I like that the handle is built onto the radio. Can't be beat for the price.

This was perfect for our use. Compact, basic, simple easy to use for a senior who just needed background noise to sleep. They are very happy with it. Reception was good and fits nicely on side table.

The sound does not "fill a room" but for a personal radio in an area that gets decent reception, it is a good choice. We have more expensive radios that don't pick up stations any better in the location we have it right now, so I have nothing bad to say about this radio -- kudos to the manufacturer for a sleek design.

The digital readout is messed up and you can't tell what station you are on, the signal is really poor even when using the antenna, i would only recommend it if someone was looking for the cheapest option possible(which I was), it could be where the radio is being used that is causing the signal issue but I highly doubt it, the signal will come in but only when the radio is placed in a certain spot and not disturbed

Took a little longer to get the package than first anticipated. Decent value for the price. I got it for the antenna which helps in picking up local am stations. Antenna is fragile.

Picked up the product as it was a site to store purchase. The radio arrived/box was undamaged but the radio did not work. Digital numbers to see what radio station you were tuned into did not illuminate properly. Returned this purchase within hours of picking it up at Walmart.

Tuning is a skillful task, radio signal sensitivity is poor. Returned it in 2 days. So disappointed I will not even try to purchase a redio any time soon Left a dissappointed feeling.

Had the same radio twenty years ago. Thought it would be as good as the first one..........WRONG The radio keeps going to other channels . so disappointed. They were made so much better twenty years ago.
