[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say I don't purchase batteries often, it may be my generation, and it may be just the evolution of electronics now. I wish I had gaming controllers that still used them to really put these batteries to the test, those things ate batteries left 'n right with the hours I put in to those. However, there are a few things in my home I still purchase batteries for that I need reliability for the long term. My smoke detectors and my wall clock! It's no bueno when those batteries go out. I definitively say these are going to outperform or outlast other battery brands in these devices in the 45 days I've been using them. What I can say is my opinion on these batteries, as a consumer, money no object, I would purchase Duracell solely on my feeling that these are the top tier name brand batteries. In my 28 years of living, their marketing campaigns have ingrained this in my head and have yet to be disappointed. Call me in 10 years and I'll let you know if I've changed my mind :)

Seems like somehow I am always changing them. I popped these into it and I'm hoping they last as long as the packaging says they will. Consistently choosing to buy bulk discount batteries over name-brand batteries thinking I was getting a better deal. After receiving this product to try from DURACELL, I can assure you I was wrong. These batteries not only lasted much longer than I expected, but I also got a brighter light from several of my flashlights VS. Bargain brand batteries. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great, long lasting batteries. You may pay a little more for the name brand but you definitely get your money's worth! My daughter has a leap pad too and I've bought the cheaper batteries which sometimes don't even last a day but Duracell batteries last a few weeks!

I use only Duracell 9 volt batteries in my security system. I have used hundreds in the past 20 years. I have never had a battery to come apart at the bottom. In the past 30 days, I have experienced two battery failures. The whole bottom rips open and several metal stakes come out of the battery housing. My house is air conditioned and cool, so I don't believe heat has caused the problem. Can you explain what is happening?

The photo looks like 9 volt batteries which I thought I was ordering. My mistake, but was very disappointed to receive C batteries which we seldom use. Photo needs some clarification. Be sure to read details.
