GPX LED Digital Radio/Dual Alarm Clock, C253B, Black

Have had this clock so far for about a week. The display is a very good size, easy to see from across a room but not overpowering. Also the dimmer feature is very nice for less night-time intrusion. The alarm buzzer is nice and loud, will definitely wake you up, the snooze is right there but there is also a button which turns off the alarm and resets it for the next day and that button is easy to find when just waking up. So far everything I was looking for in a dual alarm clock, just hope it lasts, my last several clocks from different manufacturers have barely lasted 6-9 months.

I really bought this mainly for the clock feature. Large luminous 2 inch red numerals are easily visible throughout the bedroom. I have no reason to use the alarm feature.

But you know what my phone can't do? Take batteries and give me radio signal during emergencies! The sound quality is what you expect for an alarm clock this price. The design is simple and sleek. I like that it doesn't take up too much space. But yeah, overall, I'm glad I got this product!!! And now I have 2 lol

For a unit that is roughly the size of your hand, the numbers (time) display is relatively large and clear. And the quality of the radio sound is quite good. The one disappointment is that while the batteries back up the electrical outlet source of power for the unit, preserving the time during short periods of black out, the radio must be manually turned on again after any power interruption.

Excellent clock. Directions included with clock are incomplete and occasionally confusing. I found myself a little challenged with simply setting clock and alarm functions. Once accomplished, however, clock itself is great !

You would think that an alarm clock would be intuitive and easy to program without having to read instructions. This clock is NOT easy to set the time or the alarms. Good price and a nice big display is about all you get for the price. I would not buy this again.

As other reviewers have stated, programing this clock leaves a lot to be desired. The set buttons are small and not very responsive. Setting time isn't too bad, but if you are purchasing for the radio alarm feature I would look elsewhere. Programing channels and wake station are a study in patience. Since this clock is in a spare bedroom that particular feature isn't a deal breaker for us, but if this was our primary alarm clock it would have been returned. That said, the numbers are very large, bright and easy to read. So if visibility is your prime need this may be a perfect inexpensive solution.

Haven't been able to even set the clock. It simply doesn't operate as the instructions say it does.

You need a alternate device to hear the radio, no audio for the radio unless you plug in a mp3 or something, that's what the directions say. It's not straightforward. Regret buying this particular clock radio, it's unused back in the box it came in.
