A great pocket radio to have on hand.
I was looking for a radio I could take on walks with me that wasn't bulky. This radio works great, it has good reception and the earphones work great any plug in earphones work just great. I've been tuning in different channels it fits in my pocket easily. The volume is good, I can hear everything clearly. great little radio!

Yippie!
My 92 year old god mother wanted a traditional (old fashioned) transistor radio to take on her daily two miles walks. I wasn’t at all sure I’d find one. Hallelujah! Walmart has them! Thanks! She’s delighted!

Flashback radio
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was shopping and noticed this transistor radio on the shelf. I didn't even know they still made them. I work in the yard a lot and carry a portable one which is a little hard to carry with rakes, shovels and all that. So I thought this radio would work fine and then I found out it had headphones which made it even better. I put the radio in my pocket, plug the earphones in, and work in the yard for hours. I love it because it was economical, easy to maneuver, and the sound is great. It wasn't scratchy, no static or anything. It was perfect.

Needed radio
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a part owner of an Internet Broadcasting company and in desperate need of a radio to do sideline reports. This is by far the best radio I have ever had. Sound quality is the best and helps with our broadcast.

Great for persons with certain disabilities
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is severely intellectually and developmentally disabled. He loves listening to a portable, handheld radio. However, he is very rough with handling them. The first to go is the antenna, and eventually, he bite through the wire to the headphones. So, given the difficulty in finding this type radio, we usually by two or three at a time. Good value... and for my son, priceless!

It's a good radio but the dialing is so small it is hard to finds radio stations

It makes a "clicking" sound but will not bring in any stations (AM or FM).
