I bake sourdough bread. The full sized dutch ovens are so heavy and i keep burning myself. I baked some 500gm (1 lb) loaves in my roaster and they came out perfectly so i bought 2 of these little bean pots with lids. They are lightweight and are the perfect size for baking a 500gm loaf of sourdough!

Light as a feather and thus far nothing sticks. Heats rapidly so watch it with heat. Wish I had bought this brand instead of all the heavy clunkers I have.

I ordered this pot twice and Walmart refused to give me a refund or replacement talking about it was in the box. But overall I received the second pot and it was fine

I have been looking at other Granite Ware items recently. I have owned Granite Ware in the past. They are light weight and easy to manage when filled with liquids. When you're older like me, the heavy cast iron skillets and pots are becoming increasingly difficult for me to use, which I hate to admit. Now I understand why it has the nickname "Granny Ware". This little bean pot holds 1 gallon/4 quarts of liquid when filled to the brim. This is the perfect size pot for making Bear Creek soups which require 7 to 8 cups (2 quarts) of water per bag to reconstitute. This leaves half the pot empty so you can add other things to the Bear Creek soups like more veggies or meat. Cleans up easily. You will not be disappointed with this little pot. Just the right size for a single or a couple. The label says not to use on glass countertop stoves.

This pot is the perfect size. I even do my artisian bread in this pot! It comes out perfect every time.

I love this item. I am a soup and warm food person. It allows me to cook for one and have leftovers to store. It is non-stick. It is an excellent product.

Great pot for cooking beans. I used it to make a gallon of tomato juice-based barbecue sauce and placed it in my smoker and had the BEST TASTING HOME MADE HICKORY BARBECUE SAUCE and clean-up was EASY.

It's so well built when I took it out of the package. It did fall most newer enamel. Metal stop shipped right away when that happens. This one did not. It's built to last for years to come. It's ballet for nothing for you when I'm not around anymore. 925, but I know my family members had some. That were built long ago and they're still around today. I got a single-chip. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a long, lasting pot. And easy to clean, very easy to clean. Nothing sticks to it.

I really wanted to like this nice little pot. But the finish was not completely sealed on the bottom and it was bubbled in places. The pasta I cooked in it stuck and slightly burned. I punched holes in the bottom and planted some nice flowers in it instead of sending it back. It's very pretty.
