Lodge Cast Iron 8" Tempered Glass Lid, GL8, with Silicone Knob

We have needed a lid with a handle for years. Knowing of the high quality of your items, I had no qualms about ordering. The lid is solid and may well outlast the pot.

Fits great and great quality, I bought this size and the 15-inch, the only thing that would have made this one perfect is the multi-sizing fit the other one has; this one is only a size 12. The large one fits 14/15/16 inch, I think. Knob is sturdy though, doesn't get hot or anything.

Fits my 15 inch cast iron skillet perfectly, and is oven proof to 400 degrees. Makes great chicken in the oven!

I had an older lodge skillet so i was nervous the new lid might not fit but it's an exact match! Nice thick glass and the silicone handle stays cool.

This cast iron, I love it! This cover savers me a bunch of cleanup from them perfectly cooked steaks and chops.

Great lid for several Lodge cast iron pans. I like that 1 lid works on several of my pans.

It doesn't have a vent hole. Didn't realize it until it came. Otherwise it would have been perfect.

I got a wrong thing that I didn't order.the one I ordered is not this one. I ordered the steel handle nut, not this black handle nut.could you send me a steel handle nut ?

When cooking liquid collects in the glass part of the lid, as expected. However, when I lift the lid and tilt it even a little bit, all the liquid runs to the edge and flows between the glass and the rim, and runs out all over the stove and counter. It made a terrible mess. There is apparently no seal between the metal rim and the glass, as on my other glass lids. I'm very disappointed with this lid.
