I have an '06 Eclipse and I've been testing certain accent areas on my car with this peel coat to see if I'd like to switch it up permanently. This stuff is lasting me SEVERAL months. I applied it last year in like September to my side view mirrors, door handles, and part of my hood. I'm ordering more right now to test on my spoiler and a strip on my tail lights.
Needs a topcoat of some sort to prevent flaking. I have used this in several ways on different surfaces and when it comes out right, it's beautiful. However it's rare and tends to chip almost immediately unless a heavy clear coat is applied
It totally changes the look on your rims but after only one day it started peeling even after properly prepping the rims I thoroughly washed them and let them air-dry before applying the spray paint.
One star just cause i couldnt put zero stars. Washed my car and rims then hand dried. I sprayed this product onto my grill and rims literally 5mins later it looked as if someone just smeared black washable marker onto it....also tried spraying unto plastic since it didnt work out with metal once again same results...dont waste your time on this trash product.
I cleaned my grill twice before spraying. I put on about 7 coats with about 7.5 min intervals between coats. The paint was not very glossy, but its fine, it looked good on my car for about 3 days. Then 3 days later the paint started separating. I haven't even driven my car... it came apart just siting in my driveway. I would avoid this product at all costs.
This product is horrible. Do not use it. Invest in an actual good, quality temporary peelable paint or paint your rims permanently. This stuff was a nightmare to work with. It took a good can per tire to get a solid coat, and even after that it took touch up coats. You'll easily be dropping 60 bucks to temporary paint your wheels. That's not the worst part, this stuff chips easily and you need to reapply paint weekly. Even worse, when I wanted to take it off, it did not peel off, at all. It was basically spray paint, I don't know why they call it peelable. I had to use paint thinner and rub it with my hands and rags to get it off. Definitely not peelable would not recommended do NOT BUY.
