Great Value 100% Arabica French Dark Roast Ground Coffee Pods, 96 Count

Better than the high end name brand. I used a 50% off coupon from Keurig to purchase 5 flavors of French / Dark Roast coffee ( Peets, Tully’s, Newman’s Own French, Newman’s Own Extra Bold, and Laughing Man). I brewed a cup of each along with the GV French roast. After trying them all I settled on this one. If you like a dark, rich coffee, this one will not disappoint.

I've been reading these reviews and I pray when my coffee comes today it's not in those orange boxes. I tried that at the store one time and it's terrible and I took it back. If you get the orange just take it right back to the store without opening it's horrible. if it's not purple you don't want it! it should be the same color as the picture they are advertising here.

I wish rather than completely changing the French Roasted coffee I wanted to another brand or taste they should have offered a smaller box of the exact same flavor. With my Smuckers natural peanut butter they did offer the smaller but two instead of just one. It’s a lot more expensive that way.

Why did you change it, Walmart?? I previously could confidently recommend your French Roast pods to everyone. Not any more. The new orange topped pods are so weak and bland tasting! Also...at least have the decency to change the box, too. Good-bye Great Value French Roast. It was delicious while it lasted.

I have bought this coffee for several years and loved the deep rich flavor. I noticed on the most recent box I purchased the pods have an orange ring and then when I tasted it I was shocked - it is weak with no french roast flavor whatsoever. Last box I will buy!!

Be aware that WM is back to it's old tricks and again has changed this back to the Orange Ring on the K-Cup again. They did this last year and there were a lot of people complaining that the flavor had changed and did not have the same bold flavor as the original non Orange Ring K-Cups. It has no flavor at all. I had just purchased a 96 count box a few months ago of the original and had a few K-Cups left so I did a side by side comparison with the box I just bought yesterday. Definitely not the same. I guess WM thinks customers are stupid, don't know what they are buying, or think they will never notice. I have been buying this GV French Roast for several years. Now I am returning it and have to start looking for another coffee.

I have purchased this coffee for at least 2-3 years, but the new coffee with the orange rings on the pods is weak and the flavor has changed in a negative way. I have tried many types of coffee in pods, and this WAS the absolute best. Now it is mediocre and disappointing.

The new k cups with orange on the top are not the original formula. Beware - the box looks the same, but the flavor is not. This was by far the best coffee for a decent price. The flavor is watered down and is no longer bold and flavorful. I’ve purchased an average of 12 of the 96 packs for years, but will not be purchasing ever again. So disappointed!

I have been drinking this french DARK roast for many years. It used to be the best coffee with deep dark flavor. my most recent box of 96 count has an orange ring around the normally all purple lid, which I thought was just a design change. When I made my coffee, I started questioning if I had covid-19 and had lost my taste, because it has no flavor or boldness. it's terrible compared to the original. taste like hot water with a hint of weak coffee, which does not fit the bold or dark description. Don't buy if you want bold, dark or actual coffee.

This was absolutely the best coffee pod I had found. It was stronger than any name brand pod; however, they recently changed their bean blend, and it's disgusting. It's weak and lacking in any sort of bold flavor. You can tell the difference between the pods by the neon orange ring they added to the label of the new pods. If you see the orange ring, prepare to be disappointed.
