The right light bulb can really change the look of a light fixture and a room. I wanted a pure white light and this bulb provides that. Our light fixtures went from looking slightly amber toned to white frosted. It also brightened up the room. The fixtures I used are not dimmable, but these are dimmable bulbs which is a plus for some of my fixtures that are dimmable. The long life of this LED bulb means I won't have to keep replacing them. The picture on the right is the daylight bulbs and the other is our previous warm bulbs.

These bulbs will definitely get the job done. I was so use to the darker yellow bulbs that I never realized how dark my bedroom really was. I use the darker bulbs because the brightness tends to give me headaches at time. However, these light bulbs are perfect.

I've done a lot of research on the LED Light Bulbs and I have been excited to try them. I love the light that the bulb gives out! It illuminates very well and sheds enough light to do homework without straining the eyes as well as the ability to see your work if you have intricate hand work such as embroidery.

Can't comment much about this light bulb from Great Value other than it really surprised us, the day light is a bright that you have to try, once you do, you want to use them in every place you can. We have the 60 watt equivalent and uses 8 watts and they use less power and don't get hot to touch. Were buying the 3-way A-19 for our 3- way lamps. Try them and I think you'll agree.

I was used to yellowish looking light I guess; because when I got these the whole world was lit bright and light. Amazing difference and feels much better on your eyes than the old kind of bulbs. I really couldn't imagine waiting one second longer to change all of the bulbs in my home to these. I did not wait and am very pleased with the results of changing every bulb in the house. 5 stars

Light bulbs are just that, light bulbs. Nothing special about these because they are just regular light bulbs. It brings you light for an extended amount of time and then sometimes they are short lived. They work for me and I know they will work for you too, lol.

These 4 Great Value bulbs are equivalent to 40 watt bulbs. They are clear instead of the soft white that I had in my lamps. The light is brighter since they are clear, but these are also dimmable, which makes them great for bedroom or den lamps. They last for so long, but I have not had them long enough to tell if they will actually last 18 years. As far as energy conservation, they do conserve energy. This is a great bulb that will work well in replace of 40 watt bulbs.

I bought some new lamps with white stained glass shades. When I put my CFL bulbs in them, the shades looked yellow. I tried my halogen light bulbs and it was better, but still yellower than they should have been. I went on a search for pure white light and found these bulbs. As you can see in the photo. The lamp shades are just as white with the light on as they are with it off. The light in the rest of the house looked very yellow compared to the lamps, so I had to change out all of my light bulbs and switch them to these daylight LED bulbs. I think it is a more true light and I'm very happy with them.

These light bulbs are really nice. They are clear with the "sticks" in them, that almost look like toothpicks. Those "sticks" light up brightly also, which is pretty cool. These are the daylight versions and are very bright, just like daylight. They are also dimmable, which is great for my dining room light fixture. I love the ambiance of the yellowish bulbs, but my husband loves the brightness of these bulbs for his business transactions done in there. I don't think you can go wrong with these energy saving money saving bulbs.
