This is hands down one of the best black teas for the price. The flavor is rich, bold, and very consistent every time. My wife and I have been drinking this daily for the past 3 years, usually without sugar. We boil water with 4 cloves, add one tea bag, and it turns out amazing every time. Honestly, only a few high-end teas come close to this taste—and those are way more expensive. For an early morning cup, this tea is unbeatable. Great quantity, great flavor, and incredible value. As a British person living in the US, i usually stick to a well-known British brand for my hot tea. Unfortunately, it wasn't available, so i decided to take a chance on Great Value Black Tea Bags, and I am shocked at how great this tea is. This tea tastes really nice, not too bitter, and definitely fixes my tea craving. Plus, the value for money is outstanding, much cheaper than what i usually pay for my tea. I will definitely be purchasing in the future and recommend the product to others.

These are good affordable tea bags, I only wish they weren't individually wrapped in paper it's a pain in the neck for me to always unwrap. I'd prefer to just throw them in, no tag or wrap. i use several to make my tea strong. i compared with expensive teas and can't tell the difference.

When I run down , feeling kind of poorly, a rest in my chair with my feet up and a mug of hot black tea in my hand is the ultimate rest break! Of course a cookie really sets if off. I was always a Lipton user but one day another customer told me she used Great Value, less costly, been hooked ever since!

Every bit as bold and tasty as the little boxes. Definitely an economical way to make Sun Tea. My favorite recipe is Six bags of the black and Two orange cinnamon flavored bags, steeped in a giant jar of water and left out in the sun to steep all day. This ratio holds up nicely in a tall glass of ice, or my big work thermos half full of ice.

I use it to make iced tea. I add some lemon to it and it’s perfect. Oh of course I had chicken as well. The flavor is delicious. Does not give off the two light of a tea taste or too strong. It’s just perfect. I do use a few teabags when I make it, I make enough for a couple days.

Best price out there for tea bags. I prefer orange pekoe, but, it is what it is. I can afford these tea bags. A good old-country way to make a delicious cup of hot tea: Brew several tea bags in a pot of water for 5-10 minutes. Remove from heat. Add a tablespoon (or two) amount of this brewed essence to your cup. Then fill cup with clear hot water. Very flavorful. Add sugar or cream as desired. Refrigerate unused essence of tea for future servings. Highly Recommended

The ONLY reason i didn't give these a 5 star was due to consistency. I've determined they are made in 2 different plants. One, the pull tabs and "bag" work correctly and the other ones not so much. Pull tabs tucked into the string and bag sinks quick. OR, pull tab glued and bag lays on top. That's the difference. You take your chances with every box. The tea inside? Just as wonderfully delicious as the more expensive brand.

I’ve been buying this tea for years. It’s a cheap option, although it does not measure up in quality to any other name brand. It’s good enough. HOWEVER, this box of Great Value Black Tea Bags has no flavor and the color of brewed tea is WAY OFF. It took 2 bags to make a single cup of tea.
