First time buying this but was trying to find an instant coffee that I could start making my iced coffee at home because this $10 a day sometimes we've twice a day is not what I need to be doing. So far I will give this and 8.5/10. Going to try it with a different creamer in the morning and see how it tastes. I'm a 5 different creamers in my regret all times so you never know which one I'll want.
Great Value Medium Roast Instant Coffee is a solid everyday pick. It has a smooth, balanced flavor without being too bitter, and it mixes easily with hot water. Perfect for quick mornings or when you just need a fast, reliable cup. Great value for the price and surprisingly satisfying.
Perfect for when you're lazy and don't want to make coffee. Is it good coffee?....NO. If you want good coffee, get off your butt and brew some. If you want a coffee that does the job with minimal effort, this is the coffee you need!
I use a scoop in my protein shake every single morning and occasionally on its own while camping. It dissolves well and fast and has a nice, strong flavor.
I stopped using ground coffee because it's just too darn expensive and a pain in the tush when you just what one cup. I used coffee screens when I brewed because the filters are wasteful and constantly cost money. Plus cleaning the pot stinks and pots don't seem to last as long as the percolators of the old days. Now I just use the pot to heat water and use instant, it's not that bad and I'm just not a picky coffee snob haha j/k But for one cup a day it's best for me all around (retired and don't need to drink a whole pot like I used to heh).
If you are looking for a gourmet, small-batch experience, keep walking. However, if you need a dependable, no-nonsense cup of coffee that gets the job done without breaking the bank, the Great Value Classic Medium Roast Instant Coffee is surprisingly solid. Pros Consistency: The flavor profile is remarkably steady. It delivers a classic "diner-style" medium roast—mildly nutty with a very subtle cocoa finish. Dissolvability: One of the highlights is how quickly the granules dissolve. Even in water that isn't at a rolling boil, you won't find those annoying undissolved clumps at the bottom of your mug. Value: At 12 ounces, this jar lasts a significant amount of time. Compared to name-brand competitors, you are essentially getting the same caffeine kick and flavor profile for a fraction of the price. Versatility: Because it's a balanced medium roast, it holds up well to milk, creamers, or sweeteners without being completely overpowered, but it's smooth enough to drink black if you aren't sensitive to the typical "instant" acidity. Cons The "Instant" Aftertaste: Like almost all spray-dried instant coffees, there is a lingering bitterness on the back of the tongue that you won't find in fresh grounds. Aroma: While it smells like coffee in the jar, the aroma dissipates almost immediately once it's hit with hot water. Final Verdict This is the ultimate "utility" coffee. It's perfect for a quick morning start, a mid-afternoon pick-me-up, or for use in baking recipes (like mocha cakes or cookies) where you need a concentrated coffee flavor. It isn't fancy, but it is reliable. Best for: Budget-conscious coffee
Every Now %26 Again It seems i'll need to double my crystals to get that memorable Flavor (Weird) Other Times a Smooth Small Spoonful %26 It's Just Good
Nice even smooth pleasing texture and flavor. That's the description I use for this Instant Coffee. It mixes well as hot coffee or as a little something extra in my morning Protein Shake. It's a Great Value for real.
I'm not a big fan of instant, but this is better than no coffe when you don't have time to brew. Also, good for flavor nice creams and baked goods, especially anything chocolate. I've added to cookies, homemade instant hot cocoa mix, ice creams in my Ninja Creami, cake frostings and in my homemade Kahlua recipe. It will save some money over other brands and tastes just as good.
this jar of cheap, generic, Walmart brand coffee used to be four dollars. FOUR DOLLARS! Walmart is basically extorting their customers because what else are we going to do? grow our own coffee beans? the only reason that I or anyone else capitulates to Walmart's extortion is because I/we have no choice because POVERTY.
