Great Value Crunchy Raisin Bran Breakfast Cereal, 18.2 oz

I was hesitant to try a store brand cereal, but it is really good, and the price is great. Not overly sweet, and good as a cereal with milk as well as dry for a snack. There aren't as many raisins as in the name brands but that's ok with me. I have tried other store brands at other stores and while they are about the same price, I like this better.

I've eaten several boxes of this product I really like it. Only one thing the raisen s are like Little Rock's if I try to wait for them to soften it let my flakes get too soft %26 find out the raisins are still very hard but I did not take any stars away

I recently was told to start eating this cereal due to how healthy it is. I'm really liking it and I'm not a fan of healthy cereals. I like how it doesn't get soggy right away and the cereal has good size pieces of cereal and a great amount of raisins.

This equate brand of Raisin Bran cereal is better than all of the other big brands. It is crunchy, sweet and loaded with raisins. The cereal stays crisp in milk until the last bite. Add a banana, 2% milk or half and half creamer for a real breakfast treat.

I don't eat raisins. Cause they bother my picky gut! But my son loves them, especially in Great Value Crispy Granola Raisin Bran cereal! He eats 2 boxes of them faithfully every week. If I buy 3 boxes, he eats every last raisin and flake! It is so reasonably priced and he loves it so much, that I think if I were not to be them so him, every time I shop at Walmart, he might runaway from home. I would never forget them, though, because they are so good for him. I might not eat them myself, but it sure makes me happy that he feels so strongly about how delicious they are. Pick you up a box or two and watch your kids smile when they eat that cereal. It makes my wallet happy, too. Suzi Garrett

This is very similar to the national brand. One tip would be to shake the box up before you pour it because the raisins like to settle to the bottom. I like a lot of raisins though, so I just add more to the cereal at the top of the box. Try it with a banana!

I usually find GV to be comparable and sometimes even better than name brands. However, this cereal is not. The flakes are decent, but the raisins are dry and hard. There is really no flavor even in the clusters. I had high hopes for this as raisin bran crunch is a favorite of mine, but one of the things I love about it is the plump, juicy raisins. That part is a fail for this GV try. I guess if you like things like rice cakes, that have crunch but no flavor, you'll appreciate this less expensive version.

Taste is great. However it's supposed to be raisin crunch. I poured myself a bowl, waiting for the raisins to fall. Low and behold here come two raisins. Two raisins in my entire bowl! I had to throw in a handful of raisins from the pantry! Won't buy again until they decide to actually include more than a 1/8th cup raisins per box.

There was no raisins in the first 2/3rds of the entire box of cereal. In the bottom was maybe a tablespoon of raisins and hardly any of the crunch pieces. Something must have happed during packaging where there was no quality control. I had to buy raisins to eat the cereal so I didn't waste food.

This used to be delicious. I hope I just got a bad box or something because this is ridiculous. Nothing but flakes and and literally almost zero raisins. None of the crunchy things at all and I'm not exaggerating. This has to be a fluke. Very disappointed because I usually order these often.
