Green decafe tea is my choice of what satisfies my taste. I have bought this item at Walmart in Davis West of San Leandro for years. That is until it was fire bombed. Therefore, I found it necessary to travel to San Lorenzo Walmart, only to find that they don't carry it! Therefore, I ordered it online and it was delivered to my home. I am so very thankful to once again have a supply. San Lorenzo Walmart doesn't compare to San Leandro Walmart - I hope and pray that they will reopen soon.
Do yourself a favor: Buy an iced-tea maker, fill it up with water and add 5 bags of this tea. It makes a really tasty drink that's about the best thing besides water that you can drink. We've been drinking this tea for years (well, it went away for a while in stores, but now it's back again.) It helped us to kick our soda habit, and we continue to drink it because it's really good.
This decaf green tea is a staple in my home! My family and I like to end our day with a nice, hot cup of green tea. This decaf option is awesome for night time! It's so hard to find decaf green tea, so I always purchase this one from Walmart every single time. Great buy!
I love how this tea tastes. I have been drinking it for years. The only reason I bought it online is because it sells out a lot. Great decaf green teat and so good for you. I don't like having to unwrap the individual bags though - they don't have to wrap them as far as I'm concerned - although it may preserve the freshness - not sure about that.
Its a fairly inexpensive caffeine free green tea. Supposed to be healthy, and that is why I drink it. Does it taste amazing? Nope. Is it good for you? Based on medical articles, yes. Are all green teas similar in taste and health benefits? I have no idea.
Buying green tea in bulk is great for me, since I make 3 gallons a week. The only drawback is the bags are individually wrapped and I have to unwrap them when making my tea. The taste is just like any other green tea I have purchased, including the pricey varieties of green tea.
Good flavor and great price, but the only thing I want to know is how is the tea decaffeinated. Neurologists have noted that chemically or solvent-based decaffeination can have a negative affect as the solvents and chemicals leach into the tea. If this tea is naturally decaffeinated, then it is absolutely fantastic.
Tastes like tea, but if you're buying it for health, some decaffeinated teas lost 95% of their healthy polyphenols, depending on their caffeine extraction method. And, afaik, you don't know which method they used. Gonna switch to caffeinated, since there's less caffeine in tea than coffee, anyway.
Received the item in time, good price, but I doubt it's decaf. I'm an Asian gal who's been drink tea for eons. I enjoy decaf due to its mild laxative affect. I switched to caffeinated tea for a time and boy did that result in near extreme constipation. I told myself no more shall I consume caffeinated tea. In trying to cut cost I decided to try this brand of decaf. I wasn't into it half way, maybe went on a couple weeks. My constipation came back. I told my husband the flavor isn't typical of a decaf green tea, which usually has this marina sea taste I'm accustomed to. Did they make a mistake in the packaging or something else? I will less likely recommend or make another purchase of this brand due to my experience.
Has an off putting taste, chemical like and extremely bitter. Im not sure why it taste this way. I tried taking the tea out of the tea bag and using a tea ball instead. but it stills tastes odd. Could someone look into this? I had Bigelow Decaf green tea brand previously before this. That tea was great! So whats the deal with this tea?
