Great Value Deluxe Toilet Plunger with 16-in Ergonomic Plastic Handle, 1 Each

I bought this plunger as a back-up a couple of weeks ago because my old plunger had developed a split in the rubber plunging part. This morning, the old one developed a bigger split and just wasn't working at all anymore, so i used this one. It was very bad, and I went back to the old one even though it was hardly working. After that little incident, I came here to review this plunger and say that it was awful and do not buy. Before I did, though, I looked at the review pictures and saw one from Zie, who said that it got bad reviews because people didn't understand how it worked. So I put on gloves, took it out of the trash bag (yep, it was on it's way out after one try), washed it off (ew), and reached inside the rubber plunger part. The center part that forces air/water down was folded up into that main part. Once I pulled it down, it seemed to work just as well as my old one did before it broke. Bear in mind, though, I didn't have a real clog to clear, but it seemed to work just like it should. If you have one, I hope this helps, and if you don't, don't hesitate to get one. (p.s. I feel so dumb that I didn't realize I had to pull the center part down. Many, many thanks to Zie!!!)

Well nobody wants to think about a plunger until life comes to a screeching halt. My bathroom toilet brought me to this point. I looked at all of the plungers and assumed that the one I wanted wasn’t going to get delivered quite fast enough so I opted for the cheaper one and I’m glad I did! I can’t say I was excited to use it but I was prepared for quite a bit of time getting the job done. To my surprise the plunger did it in just a couple pushed. Imagine my happiness!! I was happy enough to write a review. It’s actually just as good as the one listed for triple the amount. I didn’t order the other one because I’m pleasantly surprised with this simple one. The handle was not uncomfortable and the ease made it better. I have arthritis and honestly thought I was going to hurt but all I got was a working flushed toilet and no problems. Can’t beat that.

Low and behold the toilet clogged on Christmas Eve. Not one store in town open. Looked on the internet to see how late Walmart was open on Christmas Eve, and we thought we were in business. Store time said they were open for another two hours on Christmas Eve so we jumped in the car and drove right over and THEY WERE CLOSED! Luckily we have two bathrooms and ordered the plunger that same night so it would be delivered the day after Christmas. All is good, but false advertisement regarding their store hours...

ok, so I'm face to face with a big ol' tuuuurd blocking the commode. I had pizza the night before you see. The job called for no regular plunger; It needed a DELUXE plunger. A 15 inch handle would have me shoulder deep in the brown stinky stuff. A 17 inch handle would have made guests think I'm over-compensating down there. It had to be 16 inches on the mark. If you made it this far, yeah I was just joking, I haven't used the plunger yet, but I'm sure it's fine. Walmart bots wanted me to leave a review, so here it is. Enjoy.

Okay so when I got this I had to look at this twice thinking I got the wrong plunger. The end suctioning cup is folded inside the plunger so you’ll need to pull it out before using. This plunger works great. It took me a few rounds but just when I was about to give up I thought I’d try it one more time and went at it aggressively then bam clog cleared.

To be fair, I have not yet used this plunger, however on the Walmart website it looked like a very expensive quality plunger. To my delight, when it was delivered I found it to be true. Well made, good weight, and solid and at a ridiculously low price! I would have paid three times more for it and still considered it a bargain!

Love this little plunger. As a full time wheel chair user, having a plunger that is malleable works without having the leverage of am able bodied person is very important. 2 plunges and the toilet was cleared. Very effective, happy senior para customer. It works.

You will see a lot of negative reviews about this item. please try to ignore them. they were given by people who didn't understand the item. this is exactly a show, a great product.

Looked like it would be a solid/average plunger but it doesn’t work at all. I think the rubber is too thick to provide a good seal. When you compress it, the plunger part gets stuck compressed instead of bouncing back into shape. The handle and stuff is fine but that doesn’t matter if it didn’t work on the smallest of clogs.

One of the worst plungers I've ever used in my life. It holds so much water in the lip, you have to bang it around the toilet bowl to get the water out, and it takes forever. Adds an extra layer of aggravation that makes me quite diabolical and thinking about pitching a show called How to Get Away with Murder: Plunger Edition. 🪠 Seriously, this plunger sucks.
