Great Value Fig Bars, 14 oz

I wasn't sure if I would like these I'd love fig Newtons but because they're not the right brand that we all grew up on but actually they taste exactly the same as the more expensive ones This one just helps your pocket a little bit So if you like fig Newtons these are your best bet

This is my husband's favorite cookie. He has been eating this since he was a kid. It compares to other labels, which are much more expensive than the Great Value Brand, but we enjoy this one, and it is in our basket when the cookie jar calls. Thanks, B. Graham

Now, THESE are what Fig Newton's used to taste like... so good. The current name brand fig bar, to me, tastes like it's now an over processed, dry, and relatively tasteless cookie. BUT.. THESE fig bars are so moist, soft, chewy, and flavorful that you feel like you have stepped back into the 70's when life was simpler and food wasn't filled with so many preservatives or taste like chemicals. These are what I prefer over name brand. I'll never go back to Fig Newton's again.

My Dog tries to convince Me he should have the last Great Value Fig Bar in the the jar before refill. He usually wins because I love him and fig bars are good for both of us. They don't taste stale and are great with coffee and tea as they are not overwhelmingly sweet and have their own flavor!

A childhood found again! Pretty close to what I remember, so tasty I bought two more! Microwaved a couple for 12 seconds and they really popped flavor.

Great Value Fig Newtons are so deliciously soft and chewy A snack during the day, have with coffee or tea or just hunger pains. Pricing is very convenient. Double packs and always fresh.

First bite: kinda gooey but good they have alot of filling inside. Especially good with my coffee! They are better than expected. But they need a little bit more fig flavor. Priced ok. They're a little smaller than Nabisco? But more in package than I thought. I would buy again as long as the price don't go up.

I usually prefer the Name brand Fig Newtons, however I decided to try the Generic brand a couple of times and found that the Walmart brand is very much almost as good as the Name brand. They most certainly did the trick! Very little disappointment!
