Great Value Large Pitted Black Olives, 6 oz

These olives are so rich in flavor and taste. As an olive connoisseur I can confirm these are top notch. They are fresh, salty and tender. I’ve tasted some canned olives that have absolutely no flavor, but these are the opposite. They taste like brand named olives. Save your money and opt for these for a fraction of the cost!

These are the most affordable black olives available. They taste like standard black olives...not the most flavorful for a charcuterie board, but I use these in salads, etc. and they're just fine. I love that Walmart shipped three cans to me and they arrived in perfect condition.

I love these olives! I usually chill them before eating, but can't help sneak some right after opening a room temp can. My dog gets one on occasion, I cut it half for her, to make sure no pits escaped the factory:) Keep a can or two in the pantry cabinet for future snack, and hurricane season, they"re also great at room temp right out of the can if your power goes out! Thanks Walmart!

Love black olives for adding to frozen pizzas, to taco salads, green salads, etc. I even have a chili recipe that calls for them. They can be used as a snack, though I wouldn't eat more than a few at a time. Maybe that's a selling point, actually... LOL Better than straight out of the can, chop them up and make a tapenade to have with some crackers. Black olives are versatile and can be added to lots of dishes or recipes. They're a pantry staple for me.

Depending on stock when packaging some are large/jumbo. Tastes good either way however husband hates so bigger ones are easier for him to pick out and share with myself. Its very rare ti find pcs or smooshed olives so over all depends on harvest of from growers. Our daughter n I luv these in our salad , so do the grandkids luv them on their fingers for toppers

I've bought Great Value black olives for years. They're always fresh and tasty. I love them on salads, homemade pizza and in pretty much every mexican dish I make. I find these bigger ones tastes better. They're less bitter or something, so I buy the large or jumbo olives as slice up as needed.

Good as a snack, but usually they go into a salad. Tastes equal to the name brands. I've bought and eaten these before, and I continue to reorder them. Sometimes I buy these, sometimes I buy Kalamata olives (much more salty) depending on the flavor I want to add to a salad. I can eat these as a snack, but the Kalamata is too salty to eat alone. These have been and will remain in my shopping list.

If you open 3 cans, each labeled small, medium, or large you will find that the pitted olives are all the same size. There is only a difference between Colossal %26 all of the rest. If you ever have to pay a different price for small, medium and large, you are being scammed bc there is no difference in size.

With visions of feasts, I popped that lid wide, But in place of those giants, my hopes took a slide. The label boasted large, but what did I find? A bunch of small olives, of the pitiful kind! With a picture so bold, and a title so grand, But in reality, these were not what I planned. Now, the nutrition facts, oh, they made me frown, Four olives per serving? What a letdown! Eleven servings? My math skills engage, That’s forty-four olives—oh, what a stage! But wait! Let’s do the math, hold your horses, my friend, Fifteen ounces divided, this logic won’t end. .34 ounces per olive, a third of a bite, I called up my buddy, Rufus, for further insight. “Hey Rufus,” I said, “How much does one weigh?” “A large black olive? That’s .15,” he did say. So if my can’s filled with double-large dreams, Am I really free from my feasting extremes? Oh, prideful delight in this can’s little scheme, When I was a lad, holidays felt like a dream! We feasted on large olives, plump and so round, Now I’m left with these minuscule morsels, confound! Back in my youth, those olives were bold, Like cherry tomatoes, they shimmered like gold. Only seven to ten could fit in that can, Not forty-four tiny imposters, oh, what a sham! I've ordered these olives many times before and they've always been good. However, for the past year, the label says large olives, and there are exceptionally small ones in the can. This has to be a mistake. Very disappointing. I will not order again. I'll spend the money on the Pearl brand. At least that way I know I'm getting quality olives. 🫒
